〝Amber?〞 Tara couldn't breathe. 〝T-〞Amber started, about to say the other's name, but she disturbed herself. 〝You caught me.〞 She just... Grinned. 〝You're alive.〞 In shock, Tara blurted out whatever was to come out. 〝What the fuck are you doing here? Did you follow us here?〞Tara's eyebrows raised, meanwhile Amber's furrowed. 〝You're not happy to see me?〞She crossed her arms before moving closer to Tara.
Tara shook her head.〝Fuck that. Answer my questions.〞 The asthmatic spoke, stepping back until she bumped into the wall. Amber only got closer and closer, until she was right in front of Tara. She looked down at her.
〝Give me a moment. I'm busy lurking around in your room and stuff.〞 Tara was (obviously) in shock. One second she was having a normal day, and the other- well... This. 〝Amb-〞
She interrupted Tara.
In other words, she kissed her. Just for a brief moment, to shut her up. And it worked, Tara was speechless.〝Don't tell Sam I'm here.〞 A silence didn't last long.
〝And if I do?〞 Yes, Tara would completely ignore what Amber had done.
〝'If you do'? Tara, do you expect me to threaten you or something? I'm not foolish enough to hurt you. Not again.〞 Amber paused before continuing, 〝y'know, because the police is after me and I have to lay low for a while.〞
〝Right, so you just break into my apartment?〞 They both stayed quiet. 〝Fuck you, Tara.〞
Tara shook her head.〝Fuck me? Fuck you!〞 She answered, looking away from Amber.
〝You know, I would gladly, but you seem to be so surprised by just seeing me I'm not sure how much you can handle!〞 With that said, Amber handed Tara an inhaler. It was hers.〝Here,〞 the taller spoke with a soft sigh.
Tara stayed quiet for a moment, shaking her inhaler, then using it. After doing so, she waited shortly before speaking. 〝What are you expecting me to do, Amber? You can't just rush in here after what you did.〞 The girl finally faced Amber, looking up at her.
〝Do you want the truth, Tara? Can you face it?〞
〝Guess we'll find out. Right?〞
While they may both have an urge to aggressively kiss each other, many things were stopping them. Or rather, many things were stopping TARA. Amber could strike at any moment.
But she didn't, end of story.
Such a sad ending. Guess that's why a continuation of it came out!

Amber tucked a straw of Tara's hair behind her ear, gazing down at her. She was weirdly calm. 〝I'll ask one more time. Can you handle the truth?〞 Suddenly her toned changed, growing harsher.
〝It doesn't matter. Just throw it at me.〞 The asthmatic rolled her eyes. Had Amber always been this... g̸o̸r̸g̸e̸o̸u̸s̸ - *annoying?
〝Guess you can't handle it, huh? But I never have mercy. Why should I at this moment?〞 Amber walked backwards as she spoke, slowly going towards the other's bed... And then, she got seated there. Tara cautiously followed her.
〝Sam's right in the other room. But you know what? Don't hold back. Do what you want to do. Just tell me the truth afterwards.〞
Amber burst out in laughter at Tara's words. Although she tried to keep quiet, Tara was right: Sam was in the other room.
