Carrion

Like a carrion, I lied in wait as the budding season led way to  a time of steaming turmoil unlike no other.
It is true that I had suffered along with all the rest, but the time for my most carnal revenge was finally in reach.
Like a carrion, I lied in wait while the sins of my past shed to a dull stagnant coat.
When the leaves began to fall, so did all the ones who had once mocked me one by one. Yet there were still an impertinent few who laughed at my anguish
So, like a carrion I lied in, wait to extinguish their blunderous  humor
As the roads began to shine with black ice, slick was the way I liked to do business.
I clawed my way through every sinue of hostility and shame until I found myself drenched in my own victory.
