Sydney's pov

"Sydney" a voice echoed around me making me snap my eyes open.

I was in an empty room with a man holding a gun.

Th gunman was about to pull the trigger, looking at him I  screamed "NOOOOO!!!" Trying to shield myself from the impact with my arms. Soon the echo of a gun shot was all over the empty room followed by a thund.

I looked behind me and saw a figure on the floor looking lifeless. I knelt beside the figure and look at them, but I couldn't get a proper view of the face, cause the figure was blurry and dim, like it was about to fade away.

I clenched my fist and wept bitterly.

Soon I was engulfed in darkness and silence.

"Sydney" a voice called out again. "Sydney" it got louder as I looked around being surrounded by a pitch black void "Sydney!"

I re-opened my eyes and found myself running... more like being pulled... by a tall feminine figure.

"Sydney! We have to hurry" the voice called out again making me push my tiny legs harder.

We got into a car and she drove us out of the lot and took off I looked behind and saw another figure holding up a gun but didn't pull the trigger.

She kept on driving while I sat quietly as questions flooded in my little head.

"Every thing is going to be okay... I promise" she said breaking the peaceful silence. But something about her tone didn't make me believe what she said that much.

"Look out!" I screamed pointing to an incoming car from the left.

She released the stirring wheel and hugged me using her body as a shield as we went tumbling down a slightly slanty hill.

I looked up and saw a man looking down at us as he took out a gun and was ready to shot but stopped when he heard some sirens and quickly ran away.

I looked to my left taking in the cold sensation of the broken glass and the pains that spread unforgivingly around my small body.

I looked over to the woman and noticed a lot of injuries all over her body as blood gushed out.

"S... Sydney p... please look out for him, do...don't lose f...faith in him" I watch blood tickle down her mouth as she gave a dry yet bloody cough.

"Wake up! Please" I wept as I tried to move but to no avail. "Help! Please!..."

"NO!!" I jolted up from the bed as tears mixed with sweat tickled down my face. I looked around and took in my surrounding before calming down when I realized I was still in my room.

I let out a shaky breath of relief knowing it wasn't real. But something inside me told me it was.

I sighed falling back into my bed.

I looked at my wall clock that read 2:00 in the freaking night!

Argh!!

I rolled over and reached out to my drawer, opened it and pulled out a heart-shaped locket.

It had a golden-brown hard cover that had a big bold 'B' embedded and crafted on it.

I placed it around my neck then rest it on my chest and caressing it with my thumb.

Curiosity led me to the bottom where a keyhole lay, but unfortunately, I don't have the key.

I wander who has and what's in it.
