Sydney's pov

I laid on Halen's pink Queen size bed with my legs dangling at the end.

"So, what novel are we working on?" Halen asked sitting on her desk table while she went round and round on it.

"Umm, any suggestions?" I questioned looking at the beautiful patterns on the ceiling.

"Animal farm by Jorge Orwell, Harry Potter, Lord of the flies, what else?" She listed.

"Umm, Lord of the rings... Uuu, and Things fall apart!" I smiled widely sitting up.

"Sooo, what are we gonna do?" She asked falling back into her seat frustratingly.

"Wanna play a game for it?" I asked and she grinned.

"What game?"

"All I need are; a pen, a sheet of paper and a bowl." I listed counting on my fingers.

"I got a pen and a book in my drawers." She said pointing at her night stand. "I'll go get the bowl." She jumped off her seat and ran out of the room.

I shook my head in amazement before crawling to the other end of her bed where her night stand stood and opened the drawer picking a pink Pen and book.

Halen sure loves peach.

"Halen?" Connor walked in. "Hey" he said when he noticed me.

"Hi" I waved sitting up. "Halen just got out"

He nodded, "can I come in?" He asked and I nodded. "I'm Connor by the way, I'm guessing Halen has already told you." He smirked and I nodded again. "And you're Sydney" he confirmed.

"Yeah"

"I'm back!" Halen announced. "Oh hey, Connor" she said innocently smirking playfully.

"What you up to?" I questioned.

"Nothing" she said with a shrug while walking towards me with a bowl in hand.

I rolled my eyes at her with a small smile on my face.

She handed over the empty bowl, I took it from her before placing it on her night stand.

"May I?" I questioned holding a page already prepared to cut it.

"Sure"

I tore it off before cutting it into five small pieces.

"What are you doing?" Connor asked.

"Playing a game" Halen answered.

"We don't know what novel to wright on, so I thought, why don't faith decide." I said writing on the pieces of paper and folding it. "Wanna play?" I said then cringed at what I had just said.

Did I just say that?

"Don't ever say that again" Halen warned.

"You don't have to tell me twice."

"What's wrong with what she said?" Connor asked in confusion.

"Let me put it this way." Halen cleared her throat before making her voice really small. "Hi I'm Chucky wanna play?" She said in a sickly sweet voice and a creepy smile on her face.

"That's kinda creepy" I mumbled.

"I'm your friend till the end, right Sydney?" She said getting closer to me.

"Get back you crazy lady, I'm warning you." I said giggling while moving back slowly. "I have a weapon and I'm not afraid to use it." I pointed the pen at her before jumping off the bed and heading to the door.
