As I was tending to the flowers in the front plaza a young man rushed in wearing the city guard armor of Asoria. "May I help you?" I asked him. "I'd like to request an audience with King Zane please I have a letter to give him from Queen Elise of Atria" he said. "A letter?" I asked. "Yes ma'am we have Lord Rainer Asoto in our local inn unconscious after a battle with a goblin" he said. "Rainer! Please this way Axel finish up here please!" I said. I then lead the young guard to the throne room were King Zane and Queen Asolda sat. "Your highness there is a messenger here from Asoria for you" I said. "Asoria? Is it about Rainer?" He asked. "No your Highness I have a letter from Queen Elise for you" the guardsman said. "Dana bring it here" Queen Asolda said as the guardsman handed me his letter.  I brought it to King Zane and stood at his side as he read it. "To my lord King Zane, Tis I Elise. Reese and I have returned to the port with the aid of Miala to find Rainer in an inn room unconscious. He had a battle with a goblin and seemingly over used his magic. If you haven't read the letter I delivered to you yet then allow me to summarize it. Rainer believes wholeheartedly that he has located the young Prince. In a cave and hour north of Asoria I have Reese and some of the town guards watching it now. Please send reinforcements at the earliest convince. I remain Queen Elise of Atria" it read. "Lucan lives?" King Zane said in disbelief. "Rainer did say in his letter before leaving that he cannot shake the feeling that Lucan is" Queen Asolda said.

"She awaits in Asoria your highness" the guardsman said. "I'll ride forth myself!"  he said and stood up.  "Zane wait allow me to ride forth instead the city needs you" Queen Asolda said. "Please my love allow me to I need to see my son for myself" he said. "As do we all your highness please" I said. "Dana....saddle up Masura you are to accompany Asolda to Asoria" he said. "Of course!" I said. "I shall go get ready" Queen Asolda said. "You there guardsman please escort them and keep them safe!" King Zane said. "Of course your highness leave it to me!" The guardsman said. "Dana please assess Rainer upon your arrival" he told me. "As if you needed to ask my Lord of course!" I said and bowed before leaving the throne room. I settled up Masura the kings trusty horse and my own personal horse I named Luki for the journey to Asoria. A few moments later Queen Asolda approached me accompanied by the guardsman who's name is Dartan wearing her riding gear and had her hair pinned into a ponytail. "Its been a long time since I've seen you in a ponytail Asolda" I said. "Not since we floored the boys in jousting ey?" She said and we laughed. I remembered my childhood Asolda and I were the best of friends. When she married the then prince Zane I was her maid of honor the only commoner at a royal wedding. Then she insisted I be taken on as her personal servant. As we climbed on our horses we looked at each other again and smiled. "Just like old times huh?" I said. "Yeah now lets ride!" Asolda said as Dartan climbed onto my horse. "Hold on young man!" I said as Asolda and I clapped our rains in sync and our horses took off. "Ah the breeze!!!" I said. "It feels amazing!" Asolda said. We raced towards the port at high speeds darting in and out of trees while Dartan held on as tight as he could to me.

I awoke early in the morning the following day to find Queen Elise asleep on the bed next to mine holding a sleeping Miala. "What?" I said as I sat up stirring Miala awake. She jumped off the bed stirring the queen awake as she approached me. "Hey girl" I said and petted her. "Your awake!" Queen Elise said as she sat up. "Yes....what happened? Where am I?" I asked. "This way" I heard a young man say followed by the door opening revealing a young guardsman and Lady Dana. "Rainer!" She said and rushed in soon followed by Queen Asolda to my surprise. She wore a black leather jacket with a cream silk tunic and paired with black riding pants and maroon heeled boots. "Your highness!" I said. "Your awake! Thank the gods!" Queen Asolda said. "Asolda! I'm surprised" Queen Elise said. "When Zane read your letter he wanted to come himself but the city needs him so I offered to come in his place" Queen Asolda said. "She says offered.....but we basically insisted!" Lady Dana said as she sat on my bed. "My lady......I've found him" I said to which Queen Asolda looked at me. "Lucan?" She asked. "Yes.....He's been here in that cave since his disappearance" I said. "To think he was so close.....how do you know?" She asked. "I disobeyed my own words and scouted the cave while cloaked in indivisibility" I said to which Miala growled lowly at me. "I know I said I'd wait but I had to know" I said and she huffed. "What did you see?" Lady Dana asked. "It was horrible....the goblins would take people into their cave and brake their will down....then....." I said as I began to cry. "Then what?" Queen Elise asked. "They would rape them...brutally....." I said. "Oh God! And they did this to Lucan?" Queen Asolda said. "Only one would.....I killed him.." I said. "My god!" Lady Dana said. Just then Reese burst into my room. "Your highness! Its confirmed! I saw the young prince!" He said. "I need to rescue him!" I said. "Are you well enough?" Lady Dana asked. "Yes I am" I said and stood up. "Then lets go!" Reese said. We returned to the cave and I used my magic to enchant the swords of the guards and Reese with fire. "Please leave Lucan to Miala and me" I said. "Of course" Reese said. "Guards our young prince is in this cave and we are to rescue him! These goblins are strong and have magic on their side so be on your toes!" Reese said. I then enchanted their armor to defend against magic and in we charged with me leading the charge. The soldiers took care of the goblins with ease and began to free the captured civilians as Miala and I raced towards Lucan's cell. Standing between me and Lucan were two muscular hobgoblins. "Miala defend him" I said and she charged at the hobgoblins taking one down as she ran to Lucan's side.

I encased the one Miala took down in an Ice coffin before I turned my attention to the remaining hobgoblin. He looked at me with anger at first but then it hit him I was the one who killed his chief. He lowered his arms down and stood to the side allowing me to reach Lucan. "What?" I said surprised. He just motioned with his arm to go to Lucan. Then a female goblin ran in and held him. I heard Reese and the others approaching the door and the hobgoblin looked at me with sadness in his green eyes. Against my better judgement I made them invisible and put my finger to my mouth telling them to be quiet then I approached Lucan. I touched his face and he looked at me his eyes uncloudy staring back at me clearly. "Ra....neir" he mumbled. "Im here my friend im right here" I said and used my magic to unchain him. He collapsed into my arms and I held his naked body. Miala nudged a bag towards me and I opened it with my magic inside were clothes I made for him using the skills Astrid taught me. I used my magic to put them on him and picked him up in my arms. "Ra....neir.....I...." He tried to speak. "Hush my friend you need to regain your strength" I said. Lucan touched my face and kissed my cheek. "I knew you'd find me" he said then fell limp. "Lucan! Lucan!" I cried then saw his chest move up with his breathing. "Ha.....he's just asleep...." I thought then Reese ran in followed by the city guards of Asoria. "Ranier!" He said then saw me holding Lucan. "Lucan....." He said and sheathed his sword. "He lives.....He's just asleep" I said as I placed him on Miala. "After 3 years he's finally found. Let us return to Asoria then" Reese said. "You go ahead Miala and I will make sure none have escaped" I said and handed him Lucan.

"Of course!" He said and the guards left. My spell wore off just in time and the two goblins looked at me. "You let me rescue him please use this as a chance to escape and find a new home. No doubt this cave will be closed off" I said and unfroze the other hobgoblin who looked at me at at the other goblins. "All of you escape please" I said and left. I ran out that cave as fast as I could but I was stopped by the female goblin and she handed me a vial with a purple liquid inside. On the bottle in small writing I'm assuming by the goblin chief as its in perfect english it read antidote. "What?" I said and she made a crown with wood and pointed at it. "For Lucan?" I asked and she nodded. "Thank you" I said and climbed on Miala.
