(Hiiiiiiiii guys. The image above is how I'd imagine Frankie would look like. Feeling tired today)
As the train continued rolling along the tracks, Simon found himself in front of a grown man, who seemed deranged.
Who was he? And was he a dangerous kind of person?
"I'm... Simon." He spoke. "I'm trying to find my way out of here."
Frankie quirked a brow at him and spoke. "L-Leave? Why didn't you do it earlier?" He asked. "You could've left, but you didn't."
Simon went silent. He dropped down a large hole just to end up in this place. He couldn't exactly leave, even if he wanted to.
He nodded slowly and bit the inside of his lip. "Well... I needed a different way out... Someone was... following me." Simon lied, looking back at the creature who was split in half.
Frankie sat down. The most movement Simon's ever seen from this man. The blond began to bite his finger nails until they bled, but the young man looked away. He didn't want to see that.
This whole ordeal was tiring... and incredibly awkward.
"What are you on the train for?" He spoke up.
"Same as you... I... need to leave." Frankie spoke. "Everyone hates me." The older man said. "S-Sorry, I..."
"No... Don't apologize." Simon sighed and sat down next to him. Not closely, but close to where they could hear each other.
He wasn't exactly sure about Frankie after all. So he kept a safe distance.
"Why do you think everyone hates you?" Simon asked. The other male looked at him, hurt in his eyes. His voice sounded like he was about to cry. Even if he didn't have much facial expression.
"I hurt a girl that I love." He replied. "Her name? Her names Julie. I didn't mean to... to do anything to her."
"What did you do? If... you don't mind me asking."
"I broke her heart." Frankie replied, seeming to be emotionally drained from his situation. He added on, staring off into space. His eyes were sunken and sullen. "I told her... told her that we couldn't be together, Simon. I wanted to, but our parents wouldn't let us..."
Simon looked away and nodded. "I see... Well, I'm... im really sorry that uh, happened to you." He wasn't even sure if he was genuine himself. Frankie just stayed quiet.
With each passing second, it all made Simon feel uncomfortable and awkward.
"Do you uh, know where this train will take us?" Frankie turned to Simon and answered his question.
"I hope it takes me far away." He muttered to the young man. Those words immediately shut him up and he continued to look down at the floor.
"I need to catch up with someone. I... need to make sure they're alright." Simon rubbed the back of his neck again. "There's something... wrong... with this place..." He added on. "And it's not just the fog."
"What do you mean?" Frankie continued to peer deep into Simon. The blond's answer made him question his reality again. What could Frankie possibly be seeing?
Was he the only one who could see this shit? That's not a very comforting thought...
"Never mind." The boy in the white hood sighed.
"Tell me." The other man urged.
"It's nothing. I'm just... tired."
"... Sorry."
Simon didn't say a word back to him. He could feel his eyelids growing heavy, however. He didn't want to sleep while this complete stranger was in the bus. He didn't even seem sane.
However, the young adult couldn't help himself, and he slowly drifted away to sleep. The man next to him was probably going to take his belongings, but he genuinely couldn't help himself. It was difficult to stay away and he didn't know why.
It's been hours, and he wasn't awoken by anything except for the cold air that hit his face. His eyes shot open, and it was dark and foggy again. He turned to view his surroundings, and he was at the apartment again... Right, Y/n's key... He almost forgot why he got it.
How was he standing while sleeping? How did he even get here? There were already too many questions to be answered for the moment.
He figured he must be losing his mind or dreaming... So he continued on, with hopes that this was just some weird comatose dream.
Upon entering the apartment complex, he looked for Y/n's room number. Even after all of that, he seemed to have remembered where it was. Pushing the key into the lock, he turned it and opened the door, and saw a warm, familiar smile...
