You stumble into your bathroom half asleep, it wasn't far since it's attached to your bedroom, which you shared with your boyfriend brad.

You close the bathroom door as quietly as you could, trying not to wake up your sleeping boyfriend in the other room, because you knew he would get upset.

You stay quiet and try to listen carefully, trying to hear if you accidentally woke him up, you breathe a sigh of relief when you don't hear anything. You leaned against the bathroom sink and peered into the white mirror above it.

You begin to shake and cover your mouth, attempting not to make a sound and break down at what you saw.

What made you feel this way was seeing your arms covered in bright purple and partially yellow marks, that your boyfriend made from last night's argument, seeing them made you sick, and you tried not to cry at the sight.

Your boyfriend was really sweet in the beginning of the relationship, he would send you flowers at work with a small love note, and he was also really interested in your interests and hobbies, which never happened to you before.

Most of the boys you dated in the past never really cared about that sort of thing, so when he did it made you feel seen.

He even said I love you in the first month, which should have been a massive red flag, but you just thought he fell head over heals for you.

However, during the third month, he started acting strangely, he became really controlling and toxic, he made you block every guy in your contacts, including some family members.

He didn't care because he was so jealous. The only males he allowed to stay in your contacts, were your coworkers and boss because if you did block them, you'd lose your position at the BAU. He wasn't happy about it, though, he would constantly go through the messages.

You wanted to leave him after he started making ridiculous arguments over literally nothing, but when you tried, he threatened to kill himself.

Since you're a profiler you could kinda tell he was bluffing, but ultimately you didn't end up leaving him because you felt bad, you didn't want the guilt if he follow through with his plan.

After that, he became more aggressive for no apparent reason. If you did something he didn't like by mistake, did not follow his commands to his liking, or simply if he just had a terrible day, he would take his rage out on you and hit you.

You knew what he was doing was wrong, but you couldn't tell anyone because he'd deny it and hurt you even more. Plus, you loved him even after everything he'd done since you were already attached to him.

You put the sink on cold then you cupped your hands to catch the water, after collecting the water you splashed it on your face to help you wake up.

You pull out your phone out of your pocket to check the time, it is 6:30 a.m. Work starts at 8:00 a.m.

You sighed before heading over to your shower and turned the water to hot. You stripped and jumped in.

You were washing your hair when you unintentionally knocked over the shampoo bottle, causing you jump. When you realized what had happened, you shook your head, trying to get your head straight.

After the shower, you go back into the bedroom to change and get ready for work. When you see Brad isn't here you smile a little, he's so cranky in the morning, so you're actually kind of happy he's not here today. After you finish getting ready, you get into your car and drive to work.

You enter the elevator at Quantico and go to the sixth floor, as soon as the doors open, you rush to the coffee machines, you smile widely when you see your coworker Spencer already there, you notice he's practically dumping the entire bag of sugar into his coffee.
