      The trio, made up of (Y/N), Zoro, and Usopp, all load up on the smaller boat, Nami having decided to stay out of the inevitable fight. The entire ride there, Usopp was talking (Y/N)'s ear off, trying to find an excuse to go back. "I know it's scary, but if you want to be a pirate, it's something you'll have to face sooner than later." The vampire says. "Especially with the captain you've chosen to follow.." He finishes, sounding slightly exasperated.

      Zoro nods in agreement, helping row the boat over to the baratie. Despite (Y/N)'s best effort to comfort the curly haired teen, it didn't seem to help him much. (Y/N) had more life experience, so fights and life in general never made him nervous anymore. That isn't to say he doesn't get anxious at times, just not when it comes to things he deems as insignificant in the grand scheme of living.

      Upon boarding the Baratie, they decide to go through the back, not wanting to be seen by the big bad pirate who was still standing at the front entrance. Going through the back, no one notices as they climb the stairs due to the tall pirate keeping their attention.

      Everyone learns of Don Krieg's very quick defeat on the Grandline, (Y/N) covering his mouth with his hand. Quite pathetic for a captain of his age and influence. After provoking the gold-armored pirate with his youthful ambition, Luffy raises a fist to prepare for a fight.

      "It would be my pleasure to send you to an early grave, you cocky runt!" With that, the shoulder pads of Krieg's armor raises up, revealing guns. Some of the cooks back away with panicked yells, though the rest of the individuals in the room stay silent.

      Standing tall, Zoro places a hand on one of his swords. "What's goin' on Luffy, need a hand?" A confident smirk was on the tan man's face, while Usopp was the complete opposite. His knees were visibly shaking and his voice held an obvious tone of fear, "if you don't need help, that's okay too!" His head was held high, likely to avoid looking at the threat.

      (Y/N) places the hand covering his mouth onto his cheek, leaning on it with the opposite arm under his elbow. "I expected more from this guy.." He mutters to himself. For someone supposedly called 'Ruler of the East Blue', he wasn't much to look at. Luffy turns toward the trio nonchalantly, "oh, hey guys. Appreciate the offer, but I think I can handle this guy." Zoro nods, taking his hand off of his sword.

      Usopp sounds significantly more relieved, "oh, too bad, but if you say you don't need any help, who am I to argue? Us awesome fighters are just gonna sit this one out. Holler if you need us!" The 17 year old is shut up by Zoro, who elbows him harshly. (Y/N) catches the boy, not wanting him to fall down the stairs. Usopp covers his side, "what was that for, Zoro?!" The swordsman hisses at him to shut up.

      Don Krieg examines the three of them before erupting with laughter, "are those three your crew? That's a pretty small group you've got there, kid!" Luffy's eyes furrow as he raises up two fingers, "that's not all of them. I've got two more!" Sanji yells from the sidelines about not being apart of his crew, almost getting a laugh from (Y/N).

      After making eye contact with Zeff, the guns on Krieg's shoulder go back into hiding as he picks up the large bag of food the cook had gifted him. "I'll deal with you later, right now I have to feed my men." Directing his attention to everyone else, he turns toward the door. "Those of you who value their life can leave now. All I want is that logbook and this ship."

      The man with long sideburns begins to walk out the door, "I have no problem with burying every last one of you at sea." Even once he's gone, everyone stays silent, the atmosphere tense. Gin, the pirate from a few days prior, stays on the ground, obviously hurt. He seemed to be stewing in shame. "I'm so sorry Sanji, I never thought it would be this way.."
