They partied for hours, Pinkie was having fun, everypony was. Not shortly after, everypony with an invitation showed up. The first ones to arrive were Bon Bon and Lyra, who always showed up together. Next in came Ditsy who headed straight over to Rainbow as she entered, then Golden Harvest, Berry Punch, Sparkler and many, many more.

Applejack walked up to Rainbow Dash, nervously. Applejack thought in her head -I have to tell her how I feel about her, this is my chance. What if she doesn't like me any more? What if she will hate me? - Applejack shook her head to get all the bad thoughts out of her head.

Applejack prodded Rainbow, who was in a deep conversation with Ditsy Doo. "Uh Rainbow, can I tell you something?" Rainbow paused her conversation with Ditsy and turned to Applejack, who was shaking in fear.

"Uh sure... Are you okay Applejack? You seem a bit shaky" Rainbow lifted her eye, only making Applejack even more nervous.

"Rainbow... I just wanted... to tell you that... I" Applejack stuttered and paused in fear, Rainbow waited patiently for the thing Applejack had to say.

"Rainbow... I... Lov-" just as she was about to say it, a large bang happened, making the entire building shake. Causing everypony to freeze, in shock and concern on what just happened...

Rainbow woke up in a hospital, she looked at her wing... it was in bandages. She looked around for anypony to be there, but there was no one. All she remembered was a large explosion, then black. Rainbow got out of her hospital bed and looked out the window, only to see Ponyville in a mess. Sugar Cube Corner was slightly destroyed and the rest of the town looked almost perfect. Rainbow looked to the counter beside her bed; only to see a card... it was a card, from Applejack.

She heard a knock on the door beside her, someone in a hospital uniform walked in with a clipboard under his wing. "Rainbow, what are you doing out of bed? You should be resting; I understand you might not remember much. I'll explain to you what happened, but might I say... your friend got you out and dragged you to the hospital, she saved your life" Rainbow was stunned, she crawled back into bed, expecting the doctor to tell her what happened and who saved her.

"Doc... who dragged me here?" The doctor looked over at Rainbow and shrugged.

"It was an orange earth pony; she looked tired and slightly bruised. All she said was..."

-Eight hours earlier-

Sugar Cube Corner shook, sending a chill down everypony's spine. "What the hay was that?!" Applejack looked over at Twilight as she shouted. Twilight looked over in confusion. All the music stopped. everypony was standing still in complete shock.

Twilight galloped towards the door, she gasped in shock over what she saw. "Twilight what is it? Is everything going to be alright?" Rarity was walking towards Twilight to see what she was looking at.

Twilight jumped on top of a table to inform everypony of what was about to happen. "Everypony, listen up... there is a massive hurricane coming towards Ponyville, not only that... but its getting the attention of Dragon, Ponyville is about to be hit by a Dragon and a Hurricane!" Everyone gasped in shock and confusion on what to do.

"I'll try and redirect the hurricane, its going to be risky... but that's the only thing that might work!" Everypony made a clear path to where the voice came from, only to see Rainbow walking slowly towards Twilight.

"Rainbow, you can't be serious! That hurricane will consume you! And even if it does work, you still have a dragon to deal with!" Rainbow put a hoof on Twilight's shoulder in reassurance.

"Twilight, I know this is dangerous, I'm going to try and redirect the hurricane and hold the dragon off, we need a backup plan for the dragon" Rainbow went into the pose she uses to race, unravelled her wings and prepared to launch herself towards the incoming hurricane.

Applejack went stepped in front of Rainbow, "You cant, that hurricane is to powerful! It's suicide!" Rainbow gave Applejack a serious look and made a motion for her to move aside.

"That's a risk I'm willing to take... no one else has a plan, so this will have to do" Twilight pulled Applejack out the way of Rainbow, who was ready to speed out through the door.

"Twilight you cant be serious, Rainbow could die!" Twilight put both front hooves on Applejack's shoulders.

"And so will we if we don't let her, it's the only plan we have and it's the only one that could actually work!" Applejack gave Twilight a sad look along with an unstable nod.

"Rainbow... if we don't see you again... we-" Twilight was cut off by Rainbow, who placed a hoof over Twilights mouth.

"I'll see you all when I get back..." Rainbow pulled her hoof away from Twilights mouth, only to have Twilight hug her and put on a sad smile, Rainbow did the same.

"Move aside everypony!" Rainbow flapped her wings to wake them up, she licked her lips and pulled back, ready to pounce. She shot off with incredible force, everypony's hair was pulled along with the gust of wind Rainbow left behind, along with the Rainbow streak that soon evaporated.
