The Beginning

This is New Berk. Where the best Snoggletogs take place in the entire Archipelago and also where crazy teens live. (And possibly one of the lands known to have... Yacknog..(sorry mom.))

Pests used to be a huge problem according to mom and dad—and other various people too, before all of Old Berk's people moved to this Berk. New Berk. A place where we can all live dragon-free. It's better that way, and it keeps the peace between humans and dragons. Not to mention, no war! Which is way better, because no way am I going to live through what mom and went through when they were my age. Especially Gobber's time. Have you seen the guy's arm and leg?? Replaced with a peg leg and an interchangeable arm.

My name is Zephyr. My brother Nuffink will be by my side in Odin knows where! And children of none other than the infamous Chief Hiccup Haddock and Astrid Hofferson Haddock. Dragons still roam around, though, don't worry! The only downside to it is waking up to the screeching of Terrible Terrors if you ever catch them in sight, which is rare considering that dragons no longer live alongside people and decided that living in a special place is better.

 Its peaceful that way and no conflicts comes in our way of living. And life here smells pretty great without giant piles of dragon poop in the way.

The buildings here are now sixteen years old, and not one caught fire or was rebuilt. Pretty sure that today is going to start off the usual mundane life I was born in.

A/N: Heyoo! Sorry if I abandoned this fic! I got really sick when after I uploaded the first chapter and couldn't work on the rest. And really sorry if this rewritten chapter is shorter than last time. I got busy on my third and finals and didn't have a lot of free time. But now I do! Hopefully, I get to finish the rewritten version of the first chapter before me and my family head out for our family trip.
