I've been sitting in this damn cell for too long.
I can't move. I'm to weak.
I can't think straight. I haven't had food or water in days.
My bones ache. They've taken me a couple more times to drain my blood. That's it.
"Adeline??" I hear and look up to see Bellamy standing there...what? "How?" I ask tears coming to my eyes. "I'm here, Adeline" he says coming towards my cell "You have to help us get out!" I say moving to sit up slowly I make a face at the pain. "I can't I'm sorry" he says within a blink of an eye it's no longer him, it's my mother.
"Mommy?" I say ice cold tears spill from my eyes. "Honey, Look what you got yourself into" she says looking at me. "I told you, Everything would be swept out from under your feet" she says I look down. "You should have never gone to see who those sky people were" she hisses. "I had to. Mom!" I yell she shakes her head at me,
"Now your lying for them?" She ask a tear slides down her cheek. "You don't understand" I say she wipes her tear "No I do, He died and you feel the need to protect them. Like it's your duty" she states almost mockingly."I loved him" I say she shakes her head. "He didn't love you, Why do you think he hooked up with another girl? To get you to go away! That's why!" She yells I can't control the tears that spill from my eyes. It hurts to cry because I'm so weak it hurts my stomach more, And because my mother just told me the only person who I have ever loved romantically doesn't love me.
"Hey!" Someone hits the wall of the cage making me blink rapidly before looking at the girl. "Who were you talking to?" She ask I frown and look up, I'm losing my mind. "No one" I sniff. "Ok" she says I can hear in her voice that she doesn't believe me.
"It's.. Personal" I say she nods "I understand" I slowly bring my knees to my chest and lay my head down in my knees. "Bellamy does love me" I whisper as if my mother was here and would hear me.
"Stop! Let me go!!" I hear and lift my head to see them taking out more grounders. I watch them kick the best they can.
Why fight? Were just going to die...
Better than staying here anyways.
"We need all the ones you can get! I want that marrow!" She says marrow? As in bone marrow?
