Blood Transfusion

*Stella's POV*

I give Nick a tight hug back and say "I hope my friends are going to be ok." After I say that Nicks mom comes into my room and says "I need you two to follow me to the infirmary." So me and Nick get off my bed and follow closely behind her, after going through three different sections of the house we finally make it to the infirmary where Jaxon and Leo are lying getting their wounds treated, nurse Hope looks at us and says "I'm glad y'all got here quickly Leo and Jaxon both need a blood transfusion, I got their wounds all sowed up but they lost a lot of blood and they just need a quick transfusion and they should wake up after or a day after, Jaxon's blood type is AB and Leo's blood type is B, which means I will need to check your blood type." " I already know my blood type I'm an O" I say with confidence "But you can double check to make sure." Hope looks at me and says "I want to double check to be sure if that is fine with you." I look at her and say "I don't mind at all." She pulls up a chair for me and pats the seat, I sit down and then she looks at Lucy and Nick and tells them "I want y'all to have a lot of juice and a batch of cookies prepared for her, because after I check her blood type to make sure its what she says it is she is going to feel very light headed because she is going to have to fill a total of four bags of blood." Lucy says "I will go get started on the cookies and Nick will you go get her some juice." Nick looks at his mom and says "Yes ma'am I can." Nick walks over to me and asks "What is your favorite kind of juice." I look at him and say "I like orange juice, the SunnyD Tangy kind." He looks at me with a smile and says "I knew we had something in common and then he heads off to go get a big thing of SunnyD and then brings it back into the infirmary and goes and sits in the corner of the room. "Alright Stella I am going to check your blood type now, you don't have a fear of needles do you?" Hope says looking at me, I shake my head and she proceeds to stick the needle in me and take a tube of blood, after the tube gets filled to where she needs it to be filled and takes it over to a little machine that can read blood types instantly, she places the tube of blood in there and it reads it and it comes back as blood type O like I said and she says "Alright Stella, I'm going to fill one bag up then let you take a break and drink some juice and eat some cookies." I look and her and say "Alright lets start." She comes back over to me with four blood bags she hooks one of them up to me so she can start taking my blood and fill up the bag. After about an hour the blood bag was full and Hope took the bag over to a counter and I was light headed so I really didn't see what she did with it but she must've secured it because there wasn't any blood coming out of it and I drank the orange juice that Nick had brought for me to drink and then his mom comes in with the cookies and I eat a few of them and I start to feel better so I just keep drinking and eating and then it was time to start on the other bag everything happened the exact same way three other times but the last bag we did, I was so light headed that I had passed out and Nick picked me up out of the chair and carried to my room and laid me down on my bed and I guess he sat in the chair at the end of my bed, I heard his mom come in, I guess she dropped the juice and cookies off in my room because I heard her say that I needed to eat and drink once I woke up, about fifty minutes later I woke up and Nick came and gave me a hug and then grabbed the juice and cookies for me and told me I needed to eat. I look at him and ask "What happened to me?" He looks at me and says "You got lightheaded after the fourth bag of blood was filled, so I picked you up and carried you in here and Hope and my mom followed with the juice and the cookies." I look at him in realization and ask "How are Leo and Jaxon doing?" He looks at me and says "They are probably receiving their second bags of blood now, I heard that they were doing well, because while you were passed out my mom popped in here a few times to check on you and updated me on them, their first transfusion went good and Hope waited a while before giving them the second bag so the first bag would have enough time to run the course." I sigh in relief "I'm glad it went well." Nick looks at me and smiles "I'm glad the first one went well too, my mom is supposed to be back in here to tell me how the second one went." "I hope she comes in here soon because I am ready to know how it went that time." I say while laying my head on his shoulder. He puts a cookie near my mouth and says "You haven't took a single bite since you woke up, you need to eat and drink." I take a bite of the cookie he is holding and say "There I took a bite of the cookie, now where is the juice that is what I want first." He grabs the orange juice off the table beside my bed and hands it to me and I start drinking it. He smiles at me and I put the juice down back where it was and give him a smile. "I'm glad you ate a bite of the cookie and drank some juice." "I'm going to go take a shower and let you get some more rest." "Ok, I'll come get you or either I will text you when I wake up." Nick gives me a hug and leaves and turns my light off and shuts the door I lay down and go back to sleep and get some more sleep. After a few hours of resting I wake up and I text Nick to let him know I'm up and that he can come back to my room, a few minutes later and says that "I got a surprise for you, and I think you're going to like it." I look at him and say "what is the surprise?" He comes over to me and says "get dressed and meet me outside and I'll take you to the surprise." Then he exits the room and I get up quickly and get dressed and meet him outside of my door, he looks at me and says "Alright follow me." He grabs my hand and leads me to the infirmary where Leo and Jaxon are, we enter and Leo and Jaxon are sitting up, I rush over to their sides and ask them how they're doing they don't talk much because they took a hard beating and still need time to rest. "I figured you might be surprised to see them awake." I look at Nick and run to give him a hug and say "Thanks for bringing me to them when you found out they were up." He looks at me and says "You're welcome, I knew you would want to see them as soon as they woke up." Nick tightens the hug and gives me a kiss on the forehead and says "We need to let them have some more rest before you can hug them." I look him in the eyes and say "That's fine I'm just glad you came and got me when they woke up" I give him a kiss on his cheek and return to my room. I get to my room and I lay down in my bed and get on my phone, I lay there for a minute or two on my phone then I put it down and take a nap, about ten minutes later I am awoken by a big crash and Nick running into my room closing the door behind him, he looks at me frightened and says "Get down beside your bed" he says as he is making his way over to the side of the bed I'm on. I look at him very concerned and say "What's going on?" Nick looks me dead in the eyes and says "Julie has broke into the pack house with her friends and is looking for you and your friends, my dad isn't around right now so he can't do anything about it but my mom and the nurses are with your friends so they are safe you don't have to worry." I look at him wide eyed and say " What about us?" He puts his arm around me and pulls me close to him and whispers "You are safe with me no one can harm you, if they put their hands on you they shall be banished from the pack not just by me but by my entire family." I look at him and smile then wrap my arms around him and he smiles at me and kisses my forehead.
