"Hey princess, long time no see." Marjani's mom opened the door watching as Amour's resting bitch face turned into a smile that was from ear to ear.

Before walking into the house, amour hugged Marjani's mom as they rocked back and forth. It's been a while since Amour has visited her and she felt horrible. Marjani already made it seem like Amour was pushing them away for a boy.

Even though she knew Marjani meant no harm, it still messed with her mind a bit.

"I'm sorry for being distant ma.." Amour spoke up as her face softened while Claribel held her hand as she walked into the house.

"Listen Mija, you're fine. There's nothing for you to apologize about, you're grown I know you have your own things to worry about." Claribel stated as she kissed Amour's forehead, earning a smile from her.

Moments like this meant everything to Amour. Even though she wished it was her own mother who was giving her kisses, she was still grateful that someone was kind enough to even be a mother figure to her.

"Where's Marjani, mom?" Amour asked while setting her purse and coat on the couch before taking off her shoes.

"She's in her room princess, and the food is almost done so don't be in there for long gossiping." Claribel raised an eyebrow earning a laugh from Amour. "Girl we do not be gossiping," Amour said as she made her way to her best friend's room.

"I should really beat your ass." Amour gave Marjani a stank face as she plopped down onto her bed hearing her laugh.

"I'm over here feeling bad about not coming to visit and this whole time Mom doesn't give a damn." Amour rolled her eyes and pushed Marjani away noticing that she was attempting to hug her.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to spend time with both of you guys like we always used to do. But you wanna be getting dicked down by that drill rapper." Marjani playfully wiped tears from her eyes and pouted.

"I know, I know. But I still be with you 24/7 so there was no reason for you to do that." Amour said. "Anyways we gotta go to the dining room because mommy was already saying how the food was almost finished and for us to come out."

As the two girls got up from the bed and exited the room, they both made their plates and joined their mother at the dining table.

"About time you guys came out the room, what were you guys talking about?" The girl's mother asked as she mixed her lettuce with her rice.

Claribel made yellow rice and chopped up some Vienna sausages to put in, as well as including lettuce and avocados. This dish right here was Amour's favorite.

"Ma you be so nosey oh my god," Marjani said while playfully rolling her eyes and pulling out the chair from the glass dining table.

"I was talking to your daughter because she tried to make me feel bad for not coming here," Amour spoke up after swallowing her food while pointing to Marjani.

"Really Marjani?" Claribel asked while raising her eyes from her glasses noticing Marjani attempting to hide the smirk on her face.
