Monster (Marceline x Marshall Lee)

Chapter 1

*Marceline's POV*

My alarm goes off telling me it's time to get out of bed. Princess Bubblegum wanted me to come see her. I take the pillow and put it over my face, not wanting to get up. It seems like the alarm just keeps getting louder and louder so I get up.

I put on some jeans, my gray tank top, and my red boots. After I've brushed my hair and teeth, I start walking to the door just to be greeted by a loud knock. I open it to find Princess Bubblegum jumping up and down out of excitement. "HURRY UP!", PB screams, "Marceline, I want you to be the first to see this! Come on!"

Before I can say anything, she's dragging me out the door and to the Candy Kingdom. When we arrive, I see a gigantic contraption filling up half of the room. "Uh Bubblegum...", I say, "What exactly is it?"

"Well,", PB replies, "There's a super rare stone that can only be found extremely deep underground in the most hard to find spots!"

"Yeahhh...?", I say dully, "So what does that have to do with this huge thing?"

Princess Bubblegum replies excitedly, "You see, the stone is the only ingredient I needed to make a portal to a parallel universe!"

She has me interested. "And..?"

"It just so happens my great great great grandmother's uncle owned a mining company back then. I was searching through some of my family's old junk and found these five odd looking stones. I did some research and found that these stones are the exact rare stones I need!"

I try to hide it since I acted so distasteful about waking up so early for another one of Bubblegum's inventions, but I'm pretty excited about this. "So wait... You mean we can go to a parallel universe? With like... Ourselves in parallel universe form...or whatever?"

She nods. "Yes, but we will only be able to go there and back twice. Then we will never be able to go there again. The stones are too rare. It's just luck that I happened to have these."

"Well?! What are you waiting for, PB? Get the others!" And so that's what we did. We got Finn, Jake, Flame Princess, and LSP and then went back to the Candy Kingdom.

"Now, all I have to do is take this remote", she picks up a remote, "and throw the stone on the ground," she does, "and press this green button while pointing it at the stone annnnd,", A large portal appears right in front of us. "We have a portal!"

"But why does that room look exactly like the one we're in now?", Jake asks.

"Well, it's a parallel universe. It's like our world, but a little different!", PB replies, "Now, who wants to go first?"

"Ooh, me me me!", Finn yells. Finn walks through the portal, then Jake, then Flame Princess, then Princess Bubblegum, then LSP, and then me. I can't help but be extremely excited and nervous about whatever is about to happen.
