Sirius Black held the body of Marlene McKinnon, the mother of his daughter as he watched the Azkaban guards burging in through the door, walking to capture him. "I have chosen Remus Lupin to be my daughter's legal godfather."

And so, they started searching and found a baby in a hidden room, laying peacefully as she held on to her teddy bear. It didn't take long for her to be delivered to her freshly new father: the big bad werewolf, Remus Lupin.

Lupin decided to name Sirius's daughter Cassiopeia, since her beauty was unremarkable, and it was the name of a star.

Just like her father's was.

In the begging, she stumbled onto him, back at the 9 3/4 station. It was the first day of their first year, making her the first young witch he was introduced to.

When he looked into her eyes, the young Potter felt his heartbeat fasten, his face getting redder and his palms getting sweatier. "I'm sorry, are you alright?"

But Cassie said nothing before shaking off her surprise and offering him a tight smile. "I'm sorry, I didn't notice my own steps." she picked up his luggage and dusted off her clothes before offering him her hand. And as their eyes met, she smiled gracefully. "I'm Cassiopia Lupin, it's nice to meet you."

And when Harry took it, he felt his skin tingling under her own.

Remus Lupin stood behind his goddaughter and her new friend, immediately recognizing the boy she was walking with. He felt his lips curve into a smile as his eyes slowly watered. "Hey, you guys. The train is about to leave the station, so you better find a seat.

But take care of each other, alright?"

Cassie Lupin was free-spirited. She was fearless, powerful, and intelligent. she tried as hard as she could to live in the moment. Throughout the years, she developed a strong friendship with both Cho Chang and the Weasley twins, allowing her to become most known and quite loved by many students around Hogwarts.

Remus couldn't believe how much she resembled Sirius, even when she wasn't familiar with the man.

Harry Potter was the bravest of all. He was known for his adventures and his contribution to the Wizarding world's safety. He was strong, steady. A leader.

Yet, Cassiopeia Marlene Lupin quite often threw the Potter off his balance, making him try his best to resent her for that.
