'No matter what path we may take in life, Do not leave a single stone unturned.'

I've been reading that qoute on the wall of the airport lounge again and again, 1 more hour of waiting pa and for sure memorize ko na siya.

I've been here for almost 1 hour and kanina pa dapat dumating yung sundo ko. I thought they already arranged everything for my arrival.

Because after all those years I'm finally back. But here I am tapping my fingers on the table while sipping my favorite lychee drink.

*slurp *slurp

Tiningnan ako ng masama ng matandang babae na naka-upo sa kabilang table. I was sipping the last drop of my drink, hangin nalang yung sinisipsip ko sa straw actually, but I kept on doing it to annoy the woman even more.

After a few loud sip umalis na sya. Hah! That's what I thought! A wide grin showed up in my face.

Elder people cannot really stand me. Hindi ko naman siya inaano and what's the matter with what I'm doing? And isa pa I'm pissed off lady wag mo ng dagdagan please.

Sa mahal ba naman nang mga bilihin ngayon, hindi mo lulubusin lahat? I may sound cheap and 'kuripot' but that's reality. No matter how wealthy I am, I always think about saving money, not wasting it on some unworthy things.

'I beg to disagree' my inner party girl screams in my head. I shove that thought I'm here to annoy my relatives and not to party noh.

By the way it sucks to be back actually, so many memories, so many pain.
And now the person that was supposed to be picking me up is not here yet. Makakatikim talaga kung sino man yung nag cause ng delay na ito ang init kaya.

I roam my eyes around the place, the place is sakto lang, not that big and not that small. But the whole place is starting to get crowded, padami ng padami yung mga nag sinadatingan na passengers. And the noise is getting louder and louder.

I stood up and left the lounge but as I was walking my way out, people are either screaming in glee or crying, the typical airport scenario.

Okay.

I had enough. I'm leaving.

I pushed the cart that carries my luagages outside the airport to the taxi lane.

I'm not supposed to be alone here but it's my choice naman. I don't want to have a security team na buntot ng buntot sa akin. It will only attract a lot of attention especially people from the media.

'The Sole heir of FiberTech is now back in Iloilo. Spotted in Iloilo International Airport this afternoon.'

And that would be a good headline, but no one will recognize me. I isolated myself from the world for a long time.

I called the attention of the taxi driver cause I cannot keep on pushing the cart anymore.

"Hey, watch it!" I exclaimed, my cap fell, I drop my phone and the disposable cup that I was drinking from earlier scattered on the floor.

Wala nang laman yung cup pero sayang I was gonna keep the cup as souvenir because that drink was so goddamn expensive!

" Oh I'm so sorry." sabi nang lalaking bumanga sakin.

The tone of his voice, so muscline and so
..... foreign.

But ghad the audacity! He wasn't even looking at me while he saying sorry. How insincere. Palinga linga pa sya as if he's looking for someone.

When he faced me and saw the mess he made. He took out something from his pocket.

"Here this will cover the damage on your phone." He then left.
