It's a packed house at Class Of 1965 Arena as the Raiders' CNY foe, the Cornell Big Red and their ruckus fans come to Hamilton for a crucial meeting of Don Vaughan and Mike Schafer. With 18:47 left in the first period, Ben Berard scored to make it 1-0 Cornell. With 10:32 left in the first period, Nick DeSantis scored to make it 2-0 Red. With 6:43 left in the first period, Jack Malone scored to make it 3-0 Big Red. With 3:45 left in the first period, Colton Young scored to make it 3-1 Cornell. With milliseconds left in the first period, Nick Anderson scored to make it 3-2 Red. Carter Gylander and Ian Shane matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Cornell leads 3-2 heading to the second period. Cornell Coach Mike Schafer pulled his star goalie and put in Remington Keopple for the rest of the game. With 18:08 left in the second period, Ethan Manderville scored on the power play to tie the game 3-3. With 7:59 left in the second period, Colton Young scored to make it 4-3 Raiders. With 4:07 left in the second period, Jack Malone scored to tie the game 4-4. Gylander and Keopple matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra rivalry hockey because of a 4-4 tie between Colgate and Cornell. Gylander and Keopple matched zeros in overtime so, we'll head to another shootout because of a 4-4 tie between two hated rivals. Ross Mitton and Ethan Manderville scored in the shootout and Colgate wins the shootout 2-1 and the game 6-5 over Cornell!
