After a great game in the last part of this story, the Colgate Raiders will look to defend home ice against the Princeton Tigers hoping to defeat them once again in the Don Vaughan era. With 4:07 left in the first period, Jared Cockrell scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. Charlie Finn and Colton Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Hamiltonians it remains heading to the second period. With 16:41 left in the second period, Eric Robinson scored to tie the game 1-1. With 14:43 left in the second period, David Hallisey scored to make it 2-1 Princeton. Finn and Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Princeton leads 2-1 heading to period number three. With 17:04 left in the third period, Derek Freeman scored to tie the game 2-2. With 12:57 left in the third period, Alex Riche scored to make it 3-2 Tigers. With 12:14 left in the third period, Mike Panowyk scored to tie the game 3-3. With 7:11 left in the third period, Andrew Black scored to make it 4-3 Raiders! Charlie Finn finished off the Tigers and Colgate wins 4-3!
