Creatures of Pangea

Prologue

           Here is a story, a story about a creature. A tale about friends and lovers who have sacrificed and lost so much. An adventure that begins here, right in Pangea.
"Hey umm... brother..?" Akita asked.
"Ya? What's up, bud?" Arlo replied.
"Umm, what happened here exactly..?" Akita asked timidly as they were walking up to a burnt-up village.
"I'm guessing... you want a full storytime for that?" He asked her while giggling.
"Ya!" Akita yelled with excitement.
They both started laughing.
The two went to sit on a small grassy hill looking upon a small field in front of the burnt village.
"Haven't I already told you this story?" Arlo asked her.
"Well, ya," Akita said while looking down at the ground.

"But I want to hear it again!" she answered, jumping onto Arlo's back. 
"Plus, you didn't tell me what happened to the village before. You only told me that you found my brother and me here, then let us stay with you guys since our mother died." "And you always said I was too young to know..."
"Ok, ok," Arlo said while laughing.
Arlo laid down on the soft grass, while Akita was wiggling her way over onto his head.
"Are you ready to hear the story?" Again.." Arlo rolled his eyes in a friendly way.
"Thanks for telling me it again, I love this story! And also I may kinda forget it from the last time you told me." Akita looked at Arlo and smiled and he smiled back at her.
"Well, it all started 7000 years ago on this same planet, planet Pangea..."

Pangea is a beautiful place, with lots of trees, rivers, and mountains. With tall huge floating islands in the sky and the beautiful glowing mushroom forest." Arlo looked at Akita and gave a soft smile, then looked up at the bright blue sky. "My younger sister and I loved to go there. It was like... our special spot. I can bring you to it after if you want." Arlo told her in a nice calming voice. It seemed to make her look happy.
"Ya, that would be nice," Akita replied.
"Ok then I will, but, before that, I will tell you the story."
