Third person POV
Shira stood in the rain with a transparent umbrella over her head. She wore a grey and black dress and her cyan eyes glimmered coldly. Jake and Sakura had promised to meet her here. Where were they? She checked her watch and sighed, leaning on the wall. She closed her eyes when she heard a voice. "Hey."
Shira POV
Sakura and Jake stood in the doorway, dipping wet from the rain. Shira facepalmed and asked them. "Didn't you guys take umbrellas?"
Sakura and Jake smiled cheekily and Sakura said "Sorry. We didn't know that the rain was going to be this bad." I shook my head and realisation hit me. "Where's Kaen?" I asked. "Worried, are we?" Asked a voice from the doorway. Kaen stood there, leaning against it. I rolled my eyes, not used to be spoken to like this. "Tch."
Sakura noticed the tension in the room and tried to break it. "So, can you... umm... Can you-"
"Hey Kaen?" I asked. "Are you that guy I bumped into that time at that place ?" "Wow. Did you seriously not recognise me?" Flustered, I changed the topic. "Anyways, just bring out your bracelets." Everyone brought their's out and surprisingly, Kaen's was black. I sighed. Good. Everyone had their's. "Alright", I said. "You're free to go." Jake and Sakura ran away, leaving us alone.
"Ehhh" I said. "You see, this might be awkward so..."
I walked away, not wanting to leave but having to so as not to make it more awkward. Unexpectedly, a hand grasped my wrist and I tripped over a rock, causing me to fall on Kaen's chest. I blushed.
Ever since we met, we didn't exactly like each other, meaning that we got into fights a lot. Otherwise, we were willing to be friends.
"Ehm. Sorry"
Kaen breathed in. "No problem. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I swear it was an accident."
I smirked. "Really? Oooh... Look! Kaen's apoligizing." He raised his eyebrows and tapped his foot to the ground. "Oh really? Maybe if you didn't try to start fights I would be more frequent with apologising."
And so, with one moment without fighting, we fought again. "Ugh." Me and him stormed different ways but not before glaring at each other. He stuck out his tongue and walked away. I ran to the house, the picture of him sticking out his tongue popping up in my head at random times.
When I got back Sakura jumped at me and yelled. "Shira"~
