Chapter 1 - Entrance Exam

3rd POV 10 months before UA Entrance Exam 

Y/n Tatsuma was the son of the Dragoon Hero; Ryukyu. But since he was her son, he had a dragon quirk, but he also his father's quirk which was weather manipulation and soon his parents got married, but when Y/n was five years old his father died saving a young boy from a villain, Y/n was sad for a little while but, he accepted that his father died saving someone and Y/n decided that he wanted to become a hero like his mother and when he found out what his quirk was, he was very excited and his mother was very pleased as well. Ryuko's best friend Rumi aka Mirko also helped raise Y/n as well and he saw her as a aunt, but over time Y/n's quirk started to change his personality when he was 10 years old to make act like a real Skrill his mom and Rumi were starting to get worried until Rumi realized it had something to do with Y/n's quirk being related to an animal and she then told Ryuko that Y/n's personality had been mixed with a Skrill, so Ryuko had a hard time coming.

Over the years people from Y/n's school started to fear him due to what his quirk could do, so Y/n didn't have many friends growing up, and so he started to hangout in places he liked such as the arcade and a abandoned scrapyard was outside the city where he usually goes when there's a lightning storm over the city and right now that was where he was. He was currently in his Skrill form in the abandoned scrapyard, laying down on top of a metal warehouse, relaxing listening to the sound of thunder, lighting crackled around him as he was laying down on the electrical conductive metal, he was able to tell metals apart, due to their electrical properties, and the warehouse was made out of a silver metal.

Then he heard footsteps approaching, he opened one of his eyes to see Mt. Lady, Mirko, Gang Orca, Hound Dog, Principle Nezu and his mom. She had an annoyed look on her face, the other looked worried as they looked at the dragon which was her son.

Ryuko : "Come on Y/n, get down, were going home."

Y/n just rolled his eye and turned away, and covered his face with his wing, and this only annoyed his mum even more.

Ryuko : "Don't you use your wing to block me out of view!" 

Rumi : "Told you, this is gonna be harder than we thought, that's not gonna make him come down."

Gang Orca : "Well what do you expect, he has animal quirk, similar to Hound Dog."

Hound Dog : "Precisely and what you said about him being stubborn is true."

Nezu : "Is there a way to get him down?"

Rumi : "I could kick him."

Ryuko : "The last time you tried to do that, he tail swiped you off the building and into a heap of scrap metal."

Rumi : "Oh yeah... right."

Gang Orca : "So is there a way to get him down?"

Ryuko : "I've got an idea..."

Nezu : "What is it?"

Ryuko : "You'll see."

Ryuko then walks towards the warehouse that her son was laying and looks up at him, he then removes the tail from his face and looks down at her, she has a serious look on her face, and Y/n's face start to have a worried look on it so he climbs down from the roof and lands in front of her, while he is still his Skrill form.

Ryuko : "Good, now that you are down on the ground now I can tell you this. You are grounded for a month, and you are to train as well to get into UA every week, every day, early in the morning. Do... you... understand?" 

She tone had a seriousness to it and Y/n had only heard it few times in his life, so he knew that he was in trouble, so he accepted his fate and transformed into his human form, he was only 4cm taller than his mom, but he was still scared of her when she was angry.
