Previously:

Felling restless, Sesshomaru decided to train. He needed to remove the excess energy that was building in him as he kept thinking about Serenity. His Serenity. He shook his head in frustration as he stood in the middle of the training room. Wearing workout pants and no shirt, he grabbed his favorite blade, sharpened to perfection, and got in a poised and deadly stance.

Taking his body through the basics first, he started going faster with the more complicated moves. He swung the sharp blade to the side in a wide arch, moving and turning his body gracefully. His movements were quiet as he used his years of training to perform a dance with his blade. It was hard and fast.

He continued to shift positions, bringing the sword down in a swift motion. Every motion was designed to kill. And he was in the mood to do so. Any demon worth their salt better not come in there. They won't make it out. He swung his blade up, not wasting any energy, slicing through the air with perfect execution. Every stab, swing and parry was perfectly timed and executed; like he was one with the sword. He treated the blade like it was an extension of his body.

The blade was pristine, like it had been forged that morning, and sharp enough to slice through a tree without hesitation. This particular blade was a gift and it was over 1,000 years old. He always took care of it, whether it got used or not. Even after his heart had frozen, it always held a soft spot for the giver of his favorite weapon.

He finally brought his sword down by his side and looked at the blade in contemplation. No one knew that it wasn't an Earthly weapon.

"You kept it."

He froze at the voice behind him. A voice that he hadn't heard in eons. He closed his eyes as the sound resonated through him. As he turned around, bracing himself, he prayed that he wasn't just hearing things. He looked at the door and felt the rest of the ice in his heart melt.

"Serenity."

Rena decided to dress to the nines. Appearances were everything. She was wearing a black halter flare dress with pale pink pinstripes, matching bolero jacket, pale pink heels and clutch purse. She wanted him to see her as the princess that she was, so she left her hair mostly down.

"How much further?"

"Just around the corner." Sango said, putting up her phone, "I've just messaged Miroku and asked him to meet us for an escort in."

Before they could say anything else, a blinding flash blasted them back, sending them crashing into a wall, "Ow!" Molly muttered, "What was that?"

"Not what. Who?" Rena growled as she stared up at the Youma in front of them, "I thought the Youmas didn't come here?"

"They don't. There's too many Youkai and Reborns here. They don't bother." Ayame backed away, afraid. "I don't understand."

Rena braced herself and stood up, "I've got this." A brilliant light surrounded her, revealing Sailor Cosmos. Her hair was not it's original length and white, "Get to shelter!" She called before releasing her wings and taking off to the Youma.

"Sango!" The remaining girls looked over to see Miroku, Inuyasha and Koga run forward with a band of guards behind them, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." She looked up in a daze, "A part of me was still doubting. But she was telling the truth. She's amazing."

"Does anyone know where it came from?" Inuyasha asked, standing in front of Kagome, "They never come here.

"No." Kagome grabbed his arms as she peered over his shoulder, "We were walking toward the gate when it attacked us. She stepped forward, told us to hide, and took off. That's when you guys showed up with the guards."
