Chapter 1: Stalker

Y/n pov

I woke up in a dark place and looked around me. The shadows and darkness stretched into a never ending void as darkness surrounded me.

I took a deep breath before I slowly stood up and looked around before I slowly began walking. Curiosity latched onto my expression as I continued walking, exploring deeper into the void.

My footsteps echoed across the empty space making me feel a little bit uneasy. The way how each step I took echoed set shivers down my spine.

A few minutes went by as I slowly began to panic, making me feel desperate. Desperate to find something, someone.

My paces slowly turned into a run as I began running faster across the empty abyss as my breathing quickened. After what felt like hours, I stopped as I rested my hands onto my knees and took deep breaths as i tried to calm myself down from my labored breathing.

I glanced up before I froze into shock as i saw an empty syringe in front of me, making me back away from it. 'what the..' I eyed the syringe in suspicion.

The thing itself already made me feel uncomfortable from the unbearable memories it brought back but the fact that it suddenly appeared in front of me was making me feel uneasy.

Suddenly the floor began to melt and bubble underneath me as some type of black slime formed underneath me and began making my feet slowly sink on the floor. As I tried pulling my feet away the black slime gripped my  foot as it began to drag me deeper into the slime, making me yelp in surprise.

It slowly started pulling parts of my body into the black goop as half of my body was already in the sludge making me panic as I struggled escaping from its grip.

The black goop began to drag me deeper and deeper down, I felt drained and scared. The only part of my body that was showing was my face. I felt the sludge slowly caving in as it slowly dragged me deeper until I drowned into the black abyss.

I gasped as I immediately sat up and  wheezed as I gripped my chest. 'what the heck was that?!' I leaned at my bedframe as I took my time to calm myself down from that weird nightmare as I took deep breaths to calm my beating heart.

'what time is it..?' i glanced at my alarm clock before i sighed in relief as I slowly  and tiredly untangled myself from my blanket. "Hnngh.." i groaned as i rubbed my eyes and stretched before I stood up from my bed.

Feeling the cold yet a comforting feeling of the wooden floor as I lay my feet over it. I yawned, it's 5:30am in the morning. I dragged my feet across the floor as i made my way to my closet, picking out my school uniform before I layed it on my bed.

I grabbed my towel that was hanging from the side of my dresser near the bathroom as I dragged my feet towards the door to my bathroom. I let out a small sigh as i undressed and removed my pajamas before I placed my clothes near the sink as I stepped into the shower. Turning on the water as I took a cold but refreshing bath.

After showering, I grabbed my towel as I wrapped it around my body before I walked towards the sink as I glanced at myself in the mirror. Before I grabbed my toothbrush and my toothpaste and began brushing my teeth.

Minutes later..

I grab my bag and set it down on the couch, already wearing my uniform as I wash the dishes, not wanting to bother my aunt with it since she works morning shifts and night shifts.

Opening the door, I step out and gently close it, walking towards school since it's just two streets ahead.

Minutes later...

As I finally arrived at school I quickly headed to my locker, grabbing my biology book and my history book. As I walked towards my biology class, I couldn't help but feel like I was being stared at, but I quickly shook off the feeling as I reached the door.

Already hearing the booming voices and laughter from my classmates. Opening the door and gently closing it as I walk towards my seat.

taking out my notebook and pen as the teacher walks in the classroom, the class immediately shut up as the teacher says good morning and starts the lesson.

(Time skip)

I walk towards my locker as three of my subjects are done, putting back my books as I head to the cafeteria.

While walking to the cafeteria, I had the same feeling of someone watching me, I sighed. Not wanting to deal with some stalker. I look behind me before flinching.

I saw a glimpse of something glowing and dark before it disappeared. That glowing thing.. It's body was black, with a glowing eye staring at me..

Huh.... Weird..

I shook the thought and my fear off, thinking that I should walk faster to the cafeteria as my pace quickens. This is why you shouldn't watch horror movies before bed.

Reaching the cafeteria I sat down and quietly ate my lunch, ignoring the all background noise as I munch my food peacefully.

As I continued to eat my lunch, I heard it shifting beside me. I look towards the noise before a small smile formed on my face.

It was Mister. He's a stray cat with grey fluffy fur. He has been hiding inside the school for a few weeks now, I don't know why he likes to stay here, but he always comes to find me. Mostly when I'm in the library to steal my attention or in the cafeteria to mooch on my food.

He meowed at me, probably asking to take the chicken from my plate.

I snicker at him, handing him my chicken and petting his head as he purred. He left me alone as he got my "taxes", swaying his tail happily as he left.

I sighed, before going back to my food.

Before I could even touch my food, a hand was slammed down the table, making me flinch and glare at the person. It's him again.

"Y/n! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Tyler said in his bubbly tone, I rolled my eyes at him. Already knowing that he wants something from me.

"What do you want." I glare at him, already getting annoyed from his presence.

"Oh nothing... I was hoping you have some... Cash for me..?" He smiled at me, making me scoff at him.

"Give me a reasonable reason why I should give you money?" I replied

"Cause I asked for it." The sarcastic tone was visible to his words.

"That's not how it works, buddy." I snarled, my voice sounding menacing at the end.

"Plus, why are you even asking for money? You're rich."

"I don't care, you have money, right? Maybe be kind for once and share some of your money." He replied, making my eye twitch in annoyance.

"No, no and no. Leave me alone and let me eat my food in peace." "No. Not unless you give me some money." "L e a v e." I growled at him in irritation as I got up and slammed my fists at the table. Making him scurry and snickered away as i grumbled in annoyance.

"He's absolutely a menace.." I sighed as I sat down, finally having peace as I continue to finish my lunch.

(Time skip)

I groaned as the last three subjects were finally finished. I packed my bag and took out my umbrella since it was raining.

Walking my way towards the entrance of the school, I felt being watched again. Feeling my stomach churn as I thought of that black figure, mentally cursing at myself as I increase my pacing.

Finally walking out of the building, I look back. A shiver went down my spine as I saw the same figure disappeared.

I look away, turning a full on sprint to my house as I never glanced back at that school again..

It was a good thing that today is Friday, then the next, summer break.
