We began walking after finding another cavern hole. My legs ached and I still felt proud of andi joining the goonies, Stef as well. "How long until we reach whatever?" Stef asked "I'm not so sure" Mikey mumbled looking at the map all of a sudden it got lighter and we were in a new area, it was different than all the others and I stood with the boys "Hey mouth, can you translate the map?" I asked politely and he nodded grabbing the map "Copper bones, westward foams.." he translated

"triple stones." He continued I looked up "Triple stones. This must be "Copper Bones"." Mikey said holding up the key he took from Chester copper pot. I ripped the vines away from the wall revealing an old wooden wheel with stones attached to it in different ways. Like the key was made to fit onto it, I stumbled backwards beside data as Mikey pushed forward to get a better look "asshole" I mumbled "We got you now, One-eyed Willy. We're comin' up right behind ya" Mikey said to himself

I shook my head as I tried to ignore his rambling. Data looked at me and I stared at the floor "it fits!" I heard them shout as I looked up I must've zoned out "We got it. Wait. Wait. Which way do we turn?" Data asked frowning "Which way do we turn?" He repeated when Mikey completely ignored him "West?" Mikey asked shrugging slightly "West; counter-clockwise" Data confirmed for him "Counter-clockwise" Mikey repeated, what was he? A fucking parrot? "Try it, Mikey. Try it" Data stated

Mikey turned the wheel as data walked backwards again to stand beside me. I folded my arms frowning waiting to see what happened next The clicking of an efficient clockwork rachet is heard as a pair of wooden stocks close on Mikey's wrist, locking his hand into the wall. What the- I didn't even get to react before the floorboards under me and Data collapsed and I let out a high pitch scream followed by Data's scream. While falling, Data instinctively yanks on a cord on his sleeve. A pair of false teeth on a long spring leap out of his sleeve and catch on a rock, he was fast enough to grab my wrist The spring is strong enough to break our fall, which would have been onto long pointed stakes.

I was dangling over them and I let out a sigh of relief adrenaline bubbles in my chest as I squeezed my eyes closed "Data! Squint!" I heard everyone yelling for us but one voice stuck out to me "Squint! Are you okay?! Don't be dead..." it was Mouth and I smiled slightly before it vanished due to our current situation "They're gone..." mouth whispered "Pinchers of Peril! You guys, we've been saved by my Pinchers of Peril!" He exclaimed, I felt myself slip slightly "Shit..." I mumbled "They're alive!" Everyone cheered from the top

"Guys, we're in another room!" I shouted up. I managed to find a way to get down and to get everyone else down as the last two [Andi and Brand] landed on the floor we all dusted ourselves off Mouth instantly dragged me into a hug and I hugged him back "I thought I was going to lose you.." he whispered and I shook my head "Can't kill off a goonie" I whispered back and he chuckled slightly.

We pulled back from the hug "I gotta go to the bathroom. Pee break. Who's gotta go?" Mikey announced. Surprisingly I didn't need to, the others shouted that they had to go so I just sat out on a rock waiting for them. I folded my arms and hid my head in my knees which I brought up to my chest "Squint?" It was mouth I looked up at him "Hey" I mumbled and he sat beside me "You okay?" He asked and I nodded "are you?" I asked him and he nodded "I have a question" I spoke up

"Go ahead, ask away" he said I smiled slightly "what was your wish?" I asked he chuckled slightly "Well...I wished that a girl I like would ask me out. It didn't come true" he said running the back of his neck as if he was nervous. A pang of jealousy hit me. He likes someone? "Who's this special person?" I asked pushing a little more hoping he would open up to me he looked down "Uh...well you squint." He mumbled and I didn't really hear him "who?" I asked frowning he looked up "You squint." He has more confidence in his answer and I felt my face heat up and it was like my heart was about to explode from my chest

"I like you too mouth...just never had the courage or confidence to ask you out" I admitted might a well get it off my chest before we die down here "Can I just do something?" He asked and I nodded before he leaned closer and his lips were on mine my eyes widened but I closed them before kissing him back. I was happy. He pulled away and I looked at him "Will you go out with me?" I blurted out he chuckled "Yea, I will squint" he smiled.

"Maybe wishes do come true" I stated and he nodded "they definitely do squint, I'm just glad I left my coin in the wishing well" he admitted and I looked up at him "You did?" I asked and he nodded "Of course I did..."

A/N: They're finally together how does everyone feel about this? I don't exactly like it but I've updated so much today. So I'll update another time.
