New beginnings ✨️
Vanya's POV:
As soon as the door hung open, the homely vibe hit me hard. "Wow this is just what I want, small and cozy with enough space for myself" I said to myself looking at the appartment right in front of me.
"Uncle, mujhe yeh ghar final karna hai." I said to Raj uncle -my dad's PA- who decided to accompany me for my house hunting.
(Uncle, I am finalizing this appartment)
"Okay beta, paperwork aur dusra jo bhi kaam hai woh mai sab karlunga but tumhe office aana hoga sign karne ke liye" Raj uncle said.
(Okay dear, I will get all the paperwork done but you'll have to come to office for signing)
"Uncle, jitna jaldi ho sake utna jaldi kaam khatam karo. I can't wait to shift here." I squealed in excitement.
(Uncle, finish the work as soon as possible)
Soon we both left for my house which was like 30 mins drive from my soon-to-be house.
Now you must be wondering why I need an apartment for myself when I'm the daughter of top most business tycoon, THE YASH OBERIO. Well living in the 20th century I want to be independent like every other women and so I decided that I would get an apartment for myself from the money I earned.
Talking about the money which I spent to buy this apartment, NO, it is not the money my dad gave me, I worked hard for almost a year now in the KAPADIA EMPIRES being the PA of Dhruv Kapadia who is the CEO of KAPADIA EMPIRES and also my bestfriend.
Me and Saachi -my childhood bestfriend- not getting into the same company made me the saddest of all because we have been together almost our whole life. Went to the same school, same college, we even did the same course during our college. But then Dhruv came to my rescue. Dhruv is simply the best. Even after being CEO of his own company, he's humble and down-to-earth person who treats all his employees very well. His employees aren't scared of him but they're also aware of how strict he is when it comes to work.
My chain of thoughts were broken when Ramu kaka -the driver- stopped the car in front of my house. Well, it won't officially be my house after few months.
(Kaka- uncle)
"Thank you kaka" I said getting out of the car."Kitni baar bola hai beta, 'Thanks' bolne ki zarurat nahi hai, yeh toh mera kaam hai" kaka said -more like scolded me- "aage se yaad rakhungi, abhi chalti hu. Byee!!"
(How many time I have mentioned that you don't need to say 'thanks' it's my job)
(Hereafter I'll remember, now I need to go. Byee!!)
I said walking towards the door of my house. As soon as I rung the bell, Anjali di ‐maid in my house but more like a di to me- opened the door.
(Di- older sister)
"Arey, tu itni jaldi aa gayi? Mujhe toh laga ki tu toh aaj raat se pehle ghar nahi aayegi" Anjali di said as she stepped aside letting me in. It was 2 in the afternoon when I left for my house hunting and at present it is 3:30pm.
(You came so soon? I thought you wouldn't be back before the night falls)
"Kya aap bhi di, mujhe itna time thodi lagta hai selection karne mein" I said plopping on the sofa.
(Stop pulling my leg, I don't take that long for selection)
"Tujhe selection mein time nahi lagta hai lekin teri choice bhi milna easy nahi hai naa." She said as she brought me a glass full of water.
(I know you don't take time to select but getting things of your choice is such a task)
"Di, joh appartment maine confirm kiya hai naa woh awesome hai aur yaha se zyada dur bhi nahi hai. Aap yaha baitho naa, mai aapko photos dikhati hu." I said as I drank the whole glass within a sec and shifted a little making space for di to sit while fishing my phone out to show her pictures. When she saw the photos, she was pretty impressed by the choice I made.
(Sis, the appartment which I have finalized is awesome and it's also close enough from here. You sit here, I'll show you the photos)
After some more chit-chatting with di, I decided to get some sleep after such a tiring afternoon. Bidding bye to di, I walked towards my room and plopped on the bed. As soon as my body hit the bed, I hugged my teddy and was into the deep sleep already.
