Last night's events were a total blur. All Sophia could really remember from the previous night was that there was a lot of alcohol involved. She wasn't sure if she drank it or if Mason did, but her massive headache and massive irritation towards the world told her the answer.
She rolled over and groaned as she brought the back of her hand over her eyes to shield them from the blinding daylight streaming through her open curtains.
She tried bringing her other arm up, but she found that she wasn't able to since it felt as if it were being weighed down by something. She whipped her head towards her missing arm and found that it was under a very asleep, very shirtless Mason Kingsley.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't bring back the memory on how the heck this happened.
She looked around and established that this was definitely her bedroom in her place, but didn't know how Mason fit into this.
A sound of surprise escaped her lips as Mason's bulky and toned arms whipped out and pulled her down towards his rock hard chest.
It was a very nice feeling, don't get her wrong, but it was very awkward as well.
Then in the most inconvenient time, all the memories she had of them spending their mornings like this started crashing back.
Then suddenly, realization started sinking in that she didn't want to fight it. If it meant feeling this sensation forever, she would rather drown in it forever. And judging by the fact that he was snuggling his face in her golden locks, he felt the same way to, whether he adored it or not.
"Hi." She silently greeted him as his eyes opened.
"Hey." He smiled down on her, not even showing a bit of shock or awkwardness of their current position.
"What happened last night?" She asked him shyly.
"We went to Blake's place and parties hard." He told her as he lifted one hand to wipe his eyes, while the other unconsciously tightened around her and making her blush a bit.
Sophia laid her head on his chest, tired of killing her mind by trying to get her memory back. Mason surprisingly started stroking random patterns on her shoulder and soon trailed towards her back.
"We should probably get up now." She reluctantly reminded him, much to her dismay.
"Why would we do that?" Sophia cursed on how sexy his morning voice sounded. It totally wasn't fair that he talk to her like that when she was trying to make a point.
"You have a girlfriend who is going to be back tomorrow." Sophia stumbled upon her words since added to his sexy morning voice was his hot glare focusing on her. She also made the mistake of looking up.
"Let's just stay here for a while." He said as he closed his eyes and held her close to him. His arm under his head.
Sophia knew that this was wrong, and her conscience was totally giving her a massive beating for doing it, but she let that part of her who still loved Mason take over and listen to what he said as she set her pretty little head on his chest, which to her was way better than a pillow.
It sucked and she hated it, but a part of her still had high hopes that Mason still had feelings for her, strong ones. He wouldn't be doing this if he lost all ties with her like he said long ago.
She chose to ignore it and just savor this time when he let his walls down and just be with her. She raised the blanket on top of her shoulders and snuggled her head deport as her arm wrapped around his waist, shivering when they passed his eight pack.
Sophia didn't know that she would end up going back to sleep again though. What woke her up was the sound of the showers closing and the fact that it felt hotter in the room than it was earlier.
She opened her eyes, and what she saw made drool waterfall out of her mouth.
Imagine this: Mason coming out of the bathroom with only a towel hanging very low around his waist with steam dramatically surrounding him as he ruffled his very wet hair.
I don't know about you, but it made Sophia feel things she never thought she could feel.
Mason was approaching her and smiled when he saw her staring. It was pretty cute if only you could see how her mouth was opened. Her eyes were unknowingly following his every move like she was in a very hot, very steamy trance, which was what this situation was to be exact.
He stopped when he was already on the edge of the bed, which was where his number one fan sat, and lifted her chin up with his fingers, managing to get her chin a bit moist while doing so.
"You were always so adorable when you did that." He said, a few hints of a laugh was seeping through his words. He didn't get an answer though, since she just kept on staring at him.
It didn't look like she was going to snap out of it any time soon, so he opted for the one thing that always did the trick: tickling her in her ticklish areas.
He pierced her waist with his finger and, she immediately jolted back to the land of the sane.
"What?" She stupidly and absentmindedly asked as she scanned the room for non existent threats.
"You were doing that thing again." Sophia didn't know what he was saying until she heard him laughing under his breath. She also took in the scenario in front of her and she knew herself well enough to know what he was talking about.
"Damnit." She cursed under her breath. She hated how she couldn't control herself around him. It sucked hard.
"Go get dressed." He instructed after having a little laughter party of one.
"Why?" She asked after taking her last glimpse of hot Mason before her out on a black shirt, which still showed everything but just wasn't the same.
"We are going on a grocery trip." He said as he came out with a pair of pants and shoes on.
"Why?" She asked him again as he through a romper and a stylish kimono on her bed for her. It was cool, but it was also very disturbing on how on point his fashion sense was. It was sometimes better than hers.
"You refrigerator literally has nothing in it." That's all she needed before she went in and out of the bathroom fully clothed almost as fast as Mason did.
Almost as if Mason predicted it to be, she looked awesome.
Before they left the place, Sophia made sure to bring her Gucci sunglasses to combat the sun.
They went and drove to the grocery with her car since god knows where Mason's car is.
"How did we get home last night?" Sophia asked Mason who was leaning his arms on the handle of the shopping cart.
"I don't know. I have no memories of last night." He shrugged.
Sophia was very suspicious since the chances of Mason drinking voluntarily without any problems to drink about struck off a bit odd, especially if Mason's class and the respect he got.
"You sure you do t remember anything?" Sophia chose to push it as she casually reached up for a carton of organic eggs, the necessity of every refrigerator.
"Positive." Sophia gave him a look. It was either he wasn't telling her something, or Claire was driving him insane that all he could do was drink himself away.
They got all the necessities every refrigerator should have to be dubbed a refrigerator such as vegetables, fruit, drinks, condiments, dairy products and all those other fun stuff.
They didn't know what happened after they checked everything out.
All they knew was that they went psycho crazy afterwards.
They came out of the grocery with Mason carrying a bag on each hand as he carried Sophia on his back with one of her arms around his neck for support and one hand with another bag as she pointed her finger and leaded him on.
