They reach a clearing where there's a wood elf about to be executed.
"Your Doric's a bit of a radical, no?" Edgin says pointing to the girl about to be executed
"That's not Doric." Quinn corrects him
A horse starts to throw a man off and transform into another creature "That's Doric." He smiles as Quinn frowns. Doric turns into an owl bear and start kicking ass
"What is that again?" Edgin asks
"Owl bear." Avery answers.
She transforms back into her regular self, grabs the other girl and rides off on a horse. They follow her to the Emerald Enclave City(?)
"How far is this place!?" Edgin complains
"Just up here." Simon replies
"Stop right there!" Doric points her slingshot at us (terrifying.)
"It's me, Simon" He puts his arms out in defense
"Simon who?" She cocks her head to the side
"Ouch. Simon Aumar. I uhm courted you?"
"You said he made you sad." Quinn adds, glaring at the other girl
"Not from anything I did... just from who I was." He adds
"Oh... yeah. What are you doing here?" She recognizes him
"We need a deer" Holga answers
"We don't need a deer. We need your help to take down Forge Fitzwilliam" Edgin corrects
"Follow me." She takes them to an elf bar
"So how'd you come to live here?"
"I was born to human parents, they decided that they didn't want a tiefling child so they abandoned me. The wood elves took me in."
"Same! Except these 2 took me in." Avery says smiling, gesturing to Simon and Quinn
"Lucky you." Doric responds, cause Avery to frown
"So will you help us?"
"As you can imagine, I don't trust humans, I find you to be hateful and selfish." She says plainly
"Well I find you to.. be a bit mean." He frowns
"I'm only half human if that helps."He smiles at her, trying to lighten the mood
"And I'm not human at all." Quinn flatly says
"Me neither." Avery adds
"But you're a bad sorcerer, you've been glaring at me since you got here, and you're like 10." Doric replies to them
"I'm 15!" Avery defends
"Either way, you're a child."
"Simons a great sorcerer!!And I've been glaring at you because you're a jerk!" Quinn fires back
"Yeah. Simon may not have my wit, Holga's strength or Quinn's charm but when it counts, this man delivers. It's why I chose him!"
"He's also the only sorcerer you know." Holga adds. Simon gives a "thats fair" look
"Holga, not helping!" Edgin complains
Doric turns to him "What is it that you bring to the table?"
"Me well, I make the plans." He explains
"But you've already made the plan, so what purpose do you serve now?" She continues
"He also plays the lute." Holga adds
