When they find Xenk, he's saving a cat child from a fish's mouth
"Hot damn!" Quinn says as he walks past
"He's interesting!" Doric smiles
"Screw interesting, he's hot!" Quinn argues
"I've seen hotter!" Simon says with a tone of jealousy
"Where?" She looks at him skeptically "That man right there is sooo-" now shes just messing with him
"We get it!" He stops her before she continues
"Looks like Simon has some competition!"Avery teases
She elbows the younger girl "shut up!"
"Nonsense, no one can compete with Simon when it comes to Quinn." Holga corrects
"1 think we should go talk to him now!"She quickly tries to change the subject
All of them go to follow him
"You know, I've pulled cats out of fish before." Simon tells Doric
"No you haven't!" Quinn interjects "Stop flirting and let's go!" She complains
"I wasn't-" he turns to Doric "I wasn't flirting."
"Trust me, I know. The only person who doesn't is Quinn." She whispers to him
"Xenk is it?" Holga asks him
"I prefer not to answer that query without knowing to whom I am speaking" Xenk replies
"I'm Holga Kilgore, that is Edgin Darvis, Simon Aumar, Doric and-"
"Quinn Soule!"
"Stop sounding so eager! He's like 8 centuries older than you!" Simon whines
"I'm being friendly, chill out! If I didn't know any better l'd think you were jealous!" She teases
"What! That's preposterous!" Simon denies, you know, like a liar
"He's totally jealous!" Avery pipes up
"Oh yeah that one's Avery. We need your help to find the helm of dysfunction" Holga continues
"Dysjunction." Simon corrects
"Yeah that thing" Holga confirms
"Thousands of men died fighting for that helmet, to speak of it would be to diminish their sacrifice" Xenk stops to give money to a homeless person(?), they say something to each other, and he continues walking.
Simon steps up "You are known as a man of honor, we assure you our reasons for wanting the helmet are completely noble."
"Yup! We're gonna rob someone." Holga adds
"Holga!" Simon glares at her
"Yes but the person we're going to rob is a dick. We're going to take down Forge Fitzwilliam and the Red Wizard of Thay he's working with." Quinn explains further
Xenk pauses for a moment "Follow me." He beckons
"Anywhere!" Quinn exaggerates and whispers to just Simon, making goo goo eyes at Xenk
"I can't stand you." He glares at her
"Then sit down. And then I'll sit down" She mouths "preferably in his lap." She's not even interested in Xenk, she just wants to mess with Simon. He just rolls his eyes and shakes his head, going back to glaring at Xenk
Xenk brings them to a place with a bunch of bookshelves and a table in the middle of them.
"10 bucks says this place has something to do with a cult." Quinn whispers to Avery
