"Look, I'm sorry! He wanted me to!" Dream shouted at Technoblade.

"So, you actually do it? If he asked you to kill him, would you?" Techno yelled back, throwing his hand towards George.

"I didn't want to do it, okay?" Dream said, stepping in front of George. He wasn't in any clear danger since Techno didn't have a weapon, but he wouldn't underestimate The Blade. Not again.

"He's telling the truth," Mumza said. She was the only one chained to the wall, since she was a goddess. Techno looked in her direction to see her crying, smiling what looked to be a forced smile.

"No, no! I've sat on the side and hid for too damn long. I'm not going to let you get away with this one," Techno said, lunging at Dream. He wasn't ready for the hit, and they both fell down, Techno on top of Dream.

"Technoblade, stop!" George said, trying to break the fight up. He couldn't do much, however, since Sapnap was holding him back.

"Clay, get him off of you!" Sapnap screamed, struggling to hold back George.

"Techno, I'm sorry!" Dream screamed, trying to stop Techno from grabbing his throat, which is what he was clearly going for.

"Oh, we're way past that," Techno remarked, finally slamming his arm on Dream's neck. He tried to wiggle his way out of this death grip, but there was no stopping The Blade.

"No!" George screamed, still fighting fiercely to free himself from Sapnap's grip.

"S-top, p-le-ase," Dream muttered, taking advantage of every last bit of oxygen he could get. Techno didn't let up, not having one bit of mercy left for Dream.

"STOP!" Tubbo screamed at the top of his lungs. This was enough to distract Techno for a second. Dream was able to finally push his arm off of his neck. George ran to Dream's side, who was now coughing, regaining his breath.

"What now?" Techno asked, his voice full of sarcasm.

"Can't you just revive him? You've done it before, right?" Toby said, looking at Dream.

"Technically, I could, but wouldn't that just give XD more power to take?" Dream said.

"Not if he's out quick enough. I think it only takes about a week in the overworld for someone in Hell to start receiving powers, which is logical because Wilbur was gone for 6 months, but Niki only a couple of hours." Karl chipped in. Everyone was caught off guard at first, until they remembered he was a time traveller. He'd probably learned something like that from one of his journeys.

"Okay. So, we just have to kill XD within the week?" Slime asked, rolling up his sleeves.

"Hate to break it to you guys, but it's not going to be that easy," a voice said, echoing through the room. Most of them were quickly able to identify that voice as Schlatt's. A gas started to fill the room.

"Don't breathe it in!" Techno screamed, pulling his cape over his mouth.

"I think it's too late," George mumbled before he fell into Dream's arms. He wanted to scream to see if Gogy was responsive, but he couldn't breathe in the gas. One by one, all of them fell.

"Buckle up, kids! This ride's about to get bumpy!" Schlatt exclaimed, smiling the evil smile he's always had.

"Is it really necessary to knock them out... again?" Bad asked.

"Are you questioning my tactics?"

"No! No, no, of course not!"

"Good, I didn't want to start a problem," Schlatt scowled before walking away. Bad stood there, watching the workers move the group to another location. All he could think about now is how he ended up working with Schlatt. For XD. Against the people he knew as friends. Was it really worth it? He knew he'd eventually find out.
