POV: Tyler

"Where are we?" Chloe asked as I parked at an angle parking spot on the side of a brick road.

"Alton, Illinois." Tyler answered.

"I know we are in Illinois, but why are we in Alton?" She asked as we got out of the car.

"Look, babe, when I ran away from home and went to train with Talia, on my way there, I ended up here, and I had so much fun." I quickly explained.

"And where exactly are we going?"

"Wait for it." I said as we continued down the sidewalk. The parking spots closer to my desired location were all taken up, so we had a bit of a walk. But once we made all the way to the end of the street, there was a building with Irish flags on the corner.

"And here we are." I stated as we looked at the Irish Pub.

"What is this place?"

"Welcome to Morrison's Irish Pub, Chloe." I said with a goofy smile.

Chloe chuckled at my enthusiasm and shook her head.

"Ok, what's so special of this place that we had to drive all the way from L.A. to come here?"

"Well, what day is it?"

"Thursday, but why?"

"Give me a second, what time is it?"

Chloe looked at her watch. "5:30."

"At night?" I asked, knowing the answer.

"Yes at night."

Chloe gave me a confused look.

"You know what, I am not going to ruin the surprise." I said as I opened the door for Chloe.

She shook her head and walked in. The pub was small, with three sets of booth seats, a small stage with two tables on it, two half sets of booths (one side has a booth seat and the other has regular seats), and a bar that ran along the right side of the pub. There was a tall clock next to the entrance. The clock itself was broken but it was at 5:00. The roof and walls were littered dollar bills, all signed by someone. We walked in and the woman behind the bar greeted us.

"Welcome guys, take any open seat." She said with one of the kindest smiles I have ever seen.

"Thank you!" There were two seats around the bar open near the entrance. We sat there and the bartender gave us a menu with all of their food options. I quickly ordered the Irish Bacon Burger and Chloe ordered a Lamb Burger. We both ordered a Guianese along with the burgers. I may not be Lee with his stupid immune system, but thanks to the Mirakuru, I heal fast. Besides, I am only planning on having one.

The bartender, Katie, I later learned. She went to the drinks behind her, and filled our cups half way full with Guianese and then let the drink settle before filling it up the rest of the way, and then let that settle. Once everything was settled, she gave us our drinks.

The small stage had all of its seats taken, the half booths were filled as well. And as we waited for our food, I kept an eye on the time, knowing what was coming at 6.

"Ok, what are we waiting for? You keep looking at your phone like it's about to die."

I chuckled. Our burgers came around 5:58 and we dug in. Mine was a little dry, but I liked it just the same. But my eye was still on my phone's clock. And then it hit 6. Chloe didn't notice what was happening behind me, but I noticed the people on stage and on both sides of the half booth starting to get ready. And then, they started.

"Let the circle be wide round the fireside." All of them began to sing.

"The fuck?" Chloe whispered to me.
