Fengjiu manages to place a hiding spell on her wound. She places a cleaning charm on her dress so that the girls do not see how badly wounded she is.
She knows that she will be able to hold on until they make it to Qing Qiu but first they need to pack and let Yu Ming Ñanè know that they will be leaving soon.
As they were walking back Fengjiu noticed how quiet they were.
Before she could say anything Hua Méi asked her a question.
"Muqin are the bad guys going to come back?"
"How do you know that there were bad guys I thought I told you to stay in your barrier."
"We were in our barrier muqin. You only take out your sword when there is danger."
"Well you do not have to worry about anything, the bad guys have been taken care of."
"Are we really going back to Qing Qiu this time around?" Hua Méi ask
"Why would you think I'm lying to you my little princesses?"
"Ama you usually say so when you want us to pay attention."
"This time around we are going back home. I want you both to pack all your clothes and toys leave behind that you do not need we will be coming back some time."
The girls ran into the house and they both shouted in excited voices calling out to Yu Ming to tell her about the good news.
They both knew that they could not tell her about Qing Qiu but they were excited about letting her know that they will be seeing their family soon. As the girls were busy with Yu Ming Fengjiu allowed herself to cough when she did black blood came out. She knew the longer she took the more time it will take for her to recover. There was nothing that she was going to take for she knew that she had stuff back home. She did not want to go back home for there were many memories that haunted her till this day.
She was going to see him again after so many years of running away. They may be married in terms of the mortal custom but Fengjiu took him as her husband. But what scared her the most was if he remembers her.
Instead of letting herself go through the painful memories Fengjiu moves ahead to the house. When she gets there her girls are already ready with their bags beside them.
She could not help but laugh when she saw that they packed their toys instead of clothes.
Fengjiu left them and went to speak with Yu Ming.
"Yu Ming Ñanè we will be leaving for home for I received a message from my mother stating that she misses me and would like to see her granddaughters."
"Furen if it is possible allow me to travel with you."
"I am afraid that can not happen, we are going far"
Fengjiu did not want to do this but she erased Yu Ming memories clearing out memories about her and her daughters together with all their belongings. She made sure that the house was under Yu Ming and she would later come back and check on her.
The family of three left with the girls wrapping their arms around their mother legs. Fengjiu teleported them to the gates of Qing Qiu.
She looked around and could not help but let tears run down her face. Everything looked the same but what she feared is how her family will react to her being home. The last time she was here she was not in good terms with her father.
Now that she is a mother Fengjiu understands where her father was coming from. So many times she had misunderstood him not knowing that he wanted what was best for her. Nobody loved her the way her father loved her and she wanted to mend their relationship.
The person she feared seeing was her husband, did he remember being married to her?, Did he think about her? One thing that Fengjiu does not regret that is being his wife and the mother of his children. Would he come when he hears she is back would he call her by his nickname little red. Fengjiu was cut of when she heard the twins shouting with excitement.
"Ama ama ama we are finally home"
Fengjiu finally realized how she was selfish. She kept her children from being with their family all because she had a misunderstanding with her father. She ran away but in doing so she rob her kids the opportunity of meeting their father and also their family.
"We are going to have so much fun jièjiè look at all the flowers you are going to use to make me and ama crowns." Hau Mei says as she runs around her mother and sister. While her twin sister stands close to their mother.
The family continued to bliss themselves in the sun when Fengjiu noticed someone approaching.
Fengjiu was laughing at Hua Mei antics when she heard a voice that she thought she would never hear again.
"Who are you and what are you doing in the royal family garden, do you know you will be punished for trespassing" Migu said.
He sounded so serious Fengjiu could not help but laugh when she heard his voice since when did Migu sound so serious. Fengjiu turned around and allowed Migu to see her.
Migu was shocked that he ran towards the person whom he thought he was seeing in a dream.
Your Royal Highness Bai Fengjiu Migu bowed down to his knees. Fengjiu ran towards him to pick him up.
"Migu you do not have to do that we are family" Fengjiu says as she picks him up. She looked into his eyes and saw tears fall down.
"You are not going to cry for me"
They both stared each other and tears started to fall. They embraced each other. The girls looked at their mother as she cried.
Fengjiu was crying when she felt something come up out of her mouth.
Blood.
"Migu as much as I like to hug you I would like to introduce you to my kids and please get Zhe Yan I'm hurt."
Migu looked startled when he heard her say that when he looked at her she looked more pale and he noticed that her skin was sweating. He did pay attention to the last point. Her royal Highness was a mother since when?
He looked and noticed two identical who looked just like how Fengjiu was when she was 300 years. They looked like her but they also had eyes that looked like someone he knew.
Holding on to him Fengjiu leaned on Migu for she felt her fairy essence draining.
"Migu they do not know that I am hurt I have been poisoned and I am coughing out black blood, it comes out in clots. Let Zhe Yan know. My wound is on my stomach he did not injure any vital organs but I am afraid that the poison has spread through out my body. I have shortness of breath and I am starting to get dizzy please help me walk."
Fengjiu leaned against Migu and called out towards the girls who were still playing. She was grateful that at least there was someone who was going to look out at the twins while she recovered she did not know how long she was going to be out but she needed to make sure that her kids were well taken care.
Fengjiu called her kits towards her they were both smiling and she could not help but smile as she saw them.
"Chun'er and Hau'er I would like you to meet your uncle Migu."
