Migu stood still with his mouth opened.
" Uncle Migu close your mouth before a fly comes in"
He could not tell who was who, they both looked the same.
" Xião Mei you can not say something like that."
" Jièjiè he was opening his mouth and look mùqīn finds my joke funny and before you lecture me I was only joking I was not trying to hurt his feelings"
" Xião Mei you don't know whether you hurted his feelings I think you should apologize, remember this is the first time we are meeting our uncle and yet you manage to make fun of him"
The two girls began to argue with each other. Migu noticed that one was taller than the other.
" Girls I think your uncle does not need to hear that, Xião Mei your sister is right sometimes it's good to joke around but only with family and friends and Xião Chun it's good to have a laugh once in a while as long as the person who is telling the joke is not offending anyone and the one receiving the joke is open to it. You are both right and wrong at the same time but mùqīn needs to go and lay down and uncle Migu will take us to the den.
The four of them walked towards the family den.
Fengjiu could tell that no one was home. She knew that Zhe Yan and her uncle Bai Zhen were probably together in Zhe Yan Peach Blossom Grove. She still wonder why her uncle loved staying there instead of his own mansion.
Her parents were probably in their kingdom and her grandparents were probably traveling as they usually do around this time of the year.
And lastly her aunt, uncle and cousin she was sure that they were in the Nine Heavens.
As they entered into the den Feng Jiu looked around and noticed that everything still looked the same.
" Let us go to your room little highness and I will go and fetch Zhe Yan"
Feng Jiu made it to her room with the girls following behind them. Everything looked the same way as she left it. Her room was clean and fresh and she made note to thank Migu once she was fully well.
" Migu where is everyone I know it is common for the den to be this empty"
" Your Highness everyone will be coming to the den later on today since there is a meeting in the Nine Heavens. The Heavenly Lord called a meeting with all the clans regarding the problem with the west sea before you ask I don't know what is happening but there seems to be a problem with the marine clan and the bear clan."
" That's okay Migu I am not interested in hearing what has been happening I am sure my family is going to fill me in."
Feng Jiu laid down on the bed and the twins came to her. Moving to the other side she made room for them to enter for it was time for their nap time and she did not want them being cranky before meeting her family.
" My loves come and take a nap, you both did not get any sleep and I am sure you are feeling tired."
" I am not tired à mà maybe you can take a nap and I will go out with uncle Migu to look at the garden"
" Chun Ai I know you want to explore my darling but you are rubbing your eyes I know you don't want to admit it but you are very tired my love. You will have enough time to play in the garden later on and Migu needs to go out for he has to fetch your Grand Father Zhe Yan."
"Jiejie just come to bed we will play later on"
The girls entered and took the side which was not occupied. Snuggling against each other Migu left once he saw all of them sleeping.
