Feng Jiu was resting on the bed with her upper body resting on a pillow.

Feng Jiu could not help but smile as she watched her daughters get along with A-Li and An Na.

A-Li was older than the twins by a few years and An Na was younger than the twins, yet all of them seemed to get along. Feng Jiu knew that the girls were happy to finally have friends who were the same as them.

A-Li was happy to have two new friends and cousins other than his sister Feng Jiu he can finally play other games which he could not play with An Na.

Feng Jiu was happy that her girls were growing up being close to age with their cousins. For when she was young, she was the only child and had no one to play with other than her friends from school.

" Niànqīng de biăoméì you should ask sister Feng Jiu to let you come over for a sleep over.

You are going to love the Nine Heavens. My mùqìn is not a big fan of it, she says that it is to stuffy and there are many rules, one can not be free there without being judged. She also claims that there is nothing fun to do yet I know the best places to visit, mùqìn just does not know and I will show you.

We will have a wonderful time maybe we should ask sister Feng Jiu now."

Feng Jiu was open to letting her kids go and have fun with their cousins. She hoped that they would leave soon so that she could recover without having the her kids worried. Hua Mei was more likely to go then Chun Aì who needed more convincing.

" A-Li how about we ask your mother and father, if you can have your sleep over tomorrow evening?"

The kids all started to jump in excitement as A-Li told his cousins about what they will do. Chun Aì on the hand was more reserved, she would not leave her mother behind while she was still recovering. She wanted to make sure that she was while before leaving her behind.

Mo Yaun heart was beating fast as they were approaching the room which laid the women who captured his heart. He could not say that it was love at first sight but there was something he wanted to explore with Feng Jiu if she is willing, than they can work something out.

He could hear laughter coming from the room. And it sounded like there were more people instead of three.

"There seems to be more voices in the room, did Feng Jiu friends come over Qian Qian?"

" No Ye Hua our Jiu Jiu brought us a surprise while she was missing."

Now Mo Yaun was more interested in knowing what the princess brought with her.

Did she bring friends with her from her trip?

Was she married?

Could the other voices be her husband and kids?

How would he handle that?

Mo Yaun mind kept overthinking about the possibilities that were behind the closed door. He did not know how he would handle her being married after waiting for her.

Without waiting Bai Qian opened the door and was followed by Ye Hua and Mo Yaun.

Laughter seized in the room, as they all looked at the people who entered the room.

" Sorry to disturb you kids, Jiu Jiu look who wanted to see you and I told them they could, you don't mind?" Bai Qian asked as she held hands with Ye Hua. Bai Qian did not want to make her niece uncomfortable.

Feng Jiu smiled it was good to see her uncle Ye Hua and Mo Yaun whom she only took a glimpse of him.

" You don't have to ask aunt they are family."

An Na climbed out of the bed and went to her father who picked her up.

Feng Jiu looked at her girls and saw longing in their eyes. They would often ask her why their father was not with them and she would always answer them saying  they would see him soon. Now that the time has come she hoped that Mo Yaun and the girls would get along and bond. Feng Jiu vowed that she would make sure they would have a father-daugther relationship.

A-Li ran to his mother and asked her to bend down so that he can ask her if his cousins could come over for a sleep over tomorrow evening. Bai Qian smiling immediately said yes, she was looking forward to getting to know her nieces and winning over little Chun Ai.

While everyone was busy talking to each other Mo Yaun and Feng Jiu stared at each other noticing the slight changes they both had.

Both of their hearts were beating so fast that they were in sync with each other.

Feng Jiu could not help but smile when she saw him. He looked good and more handsome then before. She was glad that time was good on him and she hoped that everything was going well on his side. They had shared a night together and were  connected to each other through the girls she always wished him the best in his life and all he did.

Feng Jiu noticed he had some wrinkles around the corner of his mouth and eyes. His usually black hair now had strands of white and his usually black beard was now a mixture of black and white.
He may have slightly aged but he was still handsome in her eyes.

His warm brown eyes  reminded her of whiskey which she could drown herself in. His eyes held so much questions that he wanted to voice out.

His hair was in it's usually style of a tight bun with a gold dragon pin holding it in place. He wore a dark blue dress robe adorn with gold flakes. The man liked gold and any shade of blue.

She hoped that one day she would be able to see him in his gold dragon form. Her mind was wandering, the first step was to introduce him to his kids and take it from there. Anything that has love for them was a no go area for he was still in love with his ex.

Mo Yaun looked at the women who kept him awake most of the night.

He took a deep breath of her scent and he smelled vanilla and lavender, after she left Mo Yaun brought himself some vanilla and lavender oils to use around his room and study.

Die Fang his first disciple asked him why he was using a women perfume, if only he knew it was just to remind himself of the one who got away.

She looked the same, yet there was a change in her fairy aura. She was more mature than the last time he saw her and yet her eyes still carried the same youthful side of her. Her face looked more fuller compared to the last time he saw her.

Her eyes however were happy to see them yet there was fear in her eyes.

What could she be afraid of?
