"SOOO did you ask her?" finney asked, the red phone placed against his ear, robin on the other end was smiling like an idiot, he had been for the past hour, ever since he got home.
"yep!" robin smiled "and i'm guessing she said yes!!" finney said "yep!" robin said in excitement "one second...ꜰɪɴᴀʟʟʏ" robin heard him scream.
"anyways i'm back! that's great! so what are you gonna wear the dance is in like 2 days?" finney said "OMG I DONT HAVE AN OUTFIT" robin said as he began to panick
"dude chill, we'll get you something"
Y/N SAT ON THE island counter in her kitchen telling her ma about robin "he asked me to the dance!" y/n smiled "aww! that's great! about time you two start dating" y/ns ma said.
"ma we aren't dating" y/n chuckled "yet" y/ns ma raised her eyebrows before walking away with a cheeky smile, y/n rolled her eyes smiling as she ran upstairs.
she knew what she was gonna wear, it was simple but cute.
IT WAS THE DAY OF the dance, and robin and y/n were freaking out "i dunno how to dance y/n" robin laughed "yeah me neither" y/n chuckled "i guess we'll just both look like idiots together" robin chuckled.
that's when robin felt someone tap his shoulder, he turned around seeing...tracy. "you gotta be shitting me" y/n sighed "what?" robin said to tracy.
"i was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me" tracy smiled, batting her eyelashes "i'm going with y/n" robin answered without hesitation.
tracy was thrown back by the answer "as friends?" tracy said narrowing her eyes at y/n "uhh" robin said awkwardly, he didn't know how to answer that question. "nope" y/n answered for him.
"we are going together, like...romantically" y/n said as she held robins hand "yeah" robin chuckled nervously, tracy's eyes widened at the sight of the two holding hands.
"no you aren't" tracy said as she ripped the twos hands away from each other "don't touch us" y/n said as she pushed tracy's shoulders.
tracy stepped forward going to attack but her friends held her back "yeah stay back animal" y/n spat back.
tracy's friends pulled her away from the scene before it got messy, "why can't that slut leave us alone" y/n sighed "she's like a fucking parasite"
"for real" y/n laughed, just then the bell rang, meaning "the dance" robins eyes widened as he looked at y/n "i'm scared" he said laughing "me too" y/n laughed, they've never been to something like this before, let alone together.
STARING AT THE MIRROR in front of her y/n sighed as she tilted her head, the dress didn't sit on her as she imagined, it made her feel insecure. "wow" a voice came from her door, she turned around seeing her little sister standing at her door, a bright smile plastered on her face.
"you look like a princess!" the little girl smiled as she ran over to her sisters bed collapsing onto it "you think?" y/n sighed as she turned around looking at the back of the dress.
"it looks bootiful y/n! i wanna look that beautiful" ana admired her sister, y/n pouted her bottom lip at the cuteness of her sister, running over to her and hugging her "thank you cariño, plus. trust me you are even more beautiful then me" y/n smiled.
"nah" ana said shaking her head "yes." y/n said sternly, ana giggled looking down "if you say so" she shrugged, y/n smiled cupping her sisters face placing a kiss on her nose "look at the time! i gotta go!" y/n said as she ran over to her vanity grabbing the white purse for her outfit.
"is rob going?" ana asked as she ran after her sister who ran down the stairs to find shoes to wear, y/n nodded "yeah, he'll be there"
Y/N SAT IN THE CAR her ma next to her playing love songs on the radio to get her excited "you think he'll kiss you tonight?" mariana smiled with a teasing shoulder nudge "ew ma!" y/n chuckled nervously not wanting to bring up that topic with her ma.
"oh come on mija, it's just a kiss, it's not like you guys are going out and hooking up, well you better hope not, your ass will be toast if-" "ma! gosh i'm 13!" y/n said with wide eyes.
"yeah i know what kids these days are like" "well i'm nothing like those kids i could barely even handle kissing let alone...that." y/n said cringing at the thought "plus it's robin, he's shit scared of anything like that, i doubt he'll kiss me" y/n said shaking her head.
"never know" mariana shrugged "ok, enough about this please, your making me regret wanting to go to this thing." y/n said, mariana laughed "alright you have fun kid" she said as she pulled into the car park.
y/n looked out of the window, kids walking into the massive hall at their school. Y/n could hear the music blaring from inside the hall, lights surrounded the hall and teachers at the entrance.
"well go on, your lover is awaiting you" mariana smiled, y/n chuckled rolling her eyes playfully "bye ma" she said before closing the car door.
turning around to the entrance of the hall, exhaling through her nose and straightening her dress before walking up to the teachers at the entrance.
"$10 entry" the teacher said, y/n reached into her purse pulling out the $10 her ma gave her, the teacher grabbed the money off her placing it into the cash box before gesturing y/n to walk in.
As y/n walked in she was greeted with lights, balloons, sparkles, so much colour for the human eye.
Y/n looked around trying to find someone she knew, one in particular, robin. but she couldn't find anyone she knew considering the amount of kids shoved into the hall.
"excuse me" y/n said as she squeezed through people who danced around, she finally made it to a table, taking a seat and looking around.
