chapter 1.

Giyuu's pov: 

Me and my friends sat in the room, together in complete silence. "Let's make this a bit fun, people!" said Inosuke. "How about this, Whoever gets the least highest score on our science test today has to ask [Y/n] out to be their fake girlfriend for the rest of the school year." Shinobu's idea really made the tension in the room brighter.

jeez..why her. 

I thought then nodded, "I agree to play. Anyone else?" I asked,  everyone then looked around then raised their hand. "great! let's start today-" the bell than rang and everyone got up as they gathered their stuff.  "hey giyuu!" I looked back to see Zenitsu, Tanjiro, and Inosuke. "yea?" I asked, "You'd prob lose this bet." said tanjiro, I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I walked to my science class with them. "how come? I'm one of the smartest. I got all A's" I stated, they shrugged. "So? you could easily look up the answers on your device at home but for this test, their taking away phones. Plus, you didn't study," stated Zenitsu.

I looked back at them then rolled my eyes, "You'll be the one asking that girl out." I said and then walked away heading to my science class, I sat in the back of the class as I looked up front was Shinobu, on the right of her was Mitsuri and at the end of the tables were Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. 

great. if I lose this bet, I'd have to ask that girl out. What a nightmare..

10 minutes later.

the teacher was then collecting phones, I placed my phone in the bin and continued fiddling with my fingers. I was nervous, a little...but I knew damn well I wasn't going to lose this bet. I looked at the packet the teacher gave us which had 60 questions on it. 

What the hell...

I grunted quietly then started the test, right after the first question I was stuck. I definitely wasnt getting anywhere with this.

Everyone left the classrooms, as I caught up with my friends. "So yall got your scores?" they all nodded as they turned to me. "I got a 99!" said Tanjiro, "85" said Shinobu, "92" Mitsuri said happily, "me and inosuke got 88" said Zenitsu, "What did you get?" they asked.

"Uh..." I pulled out the paper and my heart sunk to my stomach. "72?!" I exclaimed, Everyone was holding in their laughs. "You know what that means giyuu," said mitsuri in a teasingly tone. 

You lost the bet. Giyuu.

Your pov:

As class ended, I walked to my locker and opened it as my friends kept giggling on about their day and the boys they liked. A letter dropped out, In confusion I picked up the letter. "hey guys..did yall put this in my locker?" they stopped talking and shook their heads. 

"no..Read it!" Exclaimed rose, I sighed and opened the letter up to read it, loud enough so my friends can hear.

[y/n], meet me outside by the tree near the gym. I need to ask you something, it's a big favor and I'll be glad if you came alone.

All my friends started giggling, "Giyuu is your boyfriend now?" teased one of my friends, I scoffed and put the letter in the trash and closed my locker, "You wish. I'll be right back though, I'll go see what he wants." My friends waved and we walked into different directions.

I stepped outside, feeling the hot sun fall on my body and I spotted him over there. His tall figure. thin but strong, beautiful hair that was spiky.

before I could say anything, he turned to me and smiled. "you're here." I have never seen him smile. "Uh..yeah. So, What do you need?" I asked, "be my fake girlfriend. Please?" he begged, "What?!" I yelled and gave him a glare.

"Giyuu what is this bull shit?" I asked, pissed a bit because he was wasting my time. "Look, I got the lowest grade on my science test and me and my friends all made a bet that whoever gets the lowest test score on the test has to ask you out to be my fake girlfriend for the rest of the year." he said, sounding as annoyed as I was about the bet.

"....hell no." his eyes widen at my words. "No?! What do you mean no?" he asked, I tugged on my back pack. 'Why the hell would I fake date you for a bet? that's stupid." he rolled his eyes, "Come on..I'll pay you." My eyes widen, "How much?" I asked a bit interested. 

"2000 dollars," I scoffed and smiled. Rich boy shit huh. "Fine, but just know I don't like you like that, just here for the money." I gave him a peck on the cheek and then walked away as I left him there I could hear him sigh a relief as I walked away.

 ((timeskip))

School was finally over. I got home and immediately took a shower and fell asleep on my comfortable, soft bed. I wake up to hear someone calling me, I groaned and held the phone to my ear. "hello?" I heard a soft deep voice from the other end.

"hey love.." he said as if he was smiling while holding that phone, "Hi? What do you want?" I asked, as I rubbed the sleepiness out of my eyes. "Nothing, just checking on you and, I was hoping I could walk you to class tomorrow" Weird..I never seen him act like this before but the idea didn't sound so bad. 

"Sure why not!" i said and stood up on my bed, 'Now is that all I want to go back to sleep its 11:30." he chuckled softly from the other end, "yeah get your beauty rest sweetheart. I'll see you in the morning." he then hung up before I could say anything.

This is so weird but for some reason, it feels right....
