Vampire

My eyes fluttered open as i heard a banging noise on my window. "what the heck was that? I thought to myself as I started walking towards the window. As I got closer i got more nervous. "Kate, WAKE UP OR YOU WILL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!" my mom shouted and i fell to the floor, gasping for air while my heart pounded in my chest. When i had calmed myself a bit i started laughing and shouted back, "coming!".

I found myself some clothes in the closet and yanked them on before i headed to the bathroom where i combed through my hair and brushed my teeth. Finally I put on some mascara and went downstair were my mom had made me pancakes for breakfast.

I breathed in the sweet smell and smiled appreciatley at her. "thanks mom. This is great!". She smiled back at me and went to sit down herself and started chugging down a glass of water.

I finished the food and got up. " see you later mom I gotta get going". " have a Nice day honey" she said as she got up and started taking the plates over to the sink.

When i got to school my bestfriend, Lisa, came over to me. She looked really excited, her whole face was glowing. " there is a new guy at school!" she said, waiting for my reaction. " Oh, well that's great Lisa" i said while walking over to my locker. She put a hand on my shoulder and forced me to turn around and look at her. " Did you hear me Kate? There is a New guy at school. It's been ages since we had someone New start at our school! I hope he's hot" she said enthusiasticly. I laughed at her. " well let's find out! " I said and got my books.

First class was English with Mrs. Sally. She hates my guts, actually she pretty much hated everyone's guts. I walked into the classroom and sat down at my desk and got my notes out of my purse. "let the horror begin" i thought to myself.

Mrs. Sally started teaching with her high piercing voice, yelling at us every so often over nothing in particular until she was interrupted by a knock on the door. The whole class turned their heads to see what it was that made her stop teaching. In came this tall guy with dark hair smoothed into a Nice hairdo and with eyes so dark that they looked completley black. He wore some black pants with a tight white sweather and to top the outfit he wore a black leather jacket.

"well, introduce yourself young man and explain what you were interrupting my class for" Mrs. Sally said, really pissed of. " Sorry, I'm James and I am a New student here. The lady in the reseption said that I was supposed to be in this class". Mrs Sally looked at him from top to toe with an irritated look on her face before she answeared, " very well, go find yourself a Seat then". She waved him off And started where she had left off before he had knocked.

The only Seat available was one right next to me, so he sat down and took his english book up and started taking notes. I looked over at him, he was kind of handsome. Lisa would love him I thought with a smile.

When class was finally over I picked up my book and Started walking out. I heard someone jogging behind me and turned around. It was the new guy, James. " Hey, Sorry for just running up to you like this, but you seem like a Nice girl and.. Well.. I-I wondered if you could show me around ?" How sweet that he got all nervous for asking me. I smiled to him and said, " sure. I was just headed outside to meet up with my friends. That's were everybody hangs out if the weather is nice. Follow me".

I asked him a couple of questions on the way out, like were he had lived. He said that he was from a place not to far from here and that he moved here to have a change and to meet new people. He had this strange smile on his face while he said it like it was some joke that i didn't understand. I just ignored it and walked over to the benches were everybody sat.

"Hey everybody! This is the new guy that just started here. His name is James, and James here are all of my friends.
