The party's colour scheme was aqua; yet, most people had previously associated engagement parties with pastel colours like blue, pink, or other shades of pastel. When they learned that the princess had picked this theme, they immediately realised that she had quite a unique perspective on the world and wanted to ensure that others shared it. The engagement took place in Oleceur kingdom while the wedding was scheduled to take place in Korla kingdom.

It's been three years after their engagement and Y/N gained all of her memories. She took her time listening to what happened after her absence. She learned that her parents were killed by none other than David and Abigail saw it happen. Abigail thinks she is the cause of Y/N's parents' death because Abigail learned that he was a mafia before their vacation and decided to leave him, after their encounter she came back to the palace which made David follow her and wait for the right time to attack their palace. Apparently, David was obsessed with having a child of his own and Abigail leaving him meant his want of having a child would be delayed. He couldn't control his rage and decided to attack what Abigail treasured with her life, Y/N's mom, her best friend. Seeing Y/N's mom laying on the ground lifelessly broke Y/N's dad but before he could take any action, he was already shot on the chest.
The royal family wasn't prepared for this fight and therefore lost their everything to the most powerful mafia of Asia. While leaving, David took Y/N with him to fulfil his wish of having a child, even though she was never his own blood, for some reason David always took care of her like she was his own daughter. Y/N thinks David was a bad person but not a bad father, however after knowing that her mom was killed by him, even the last bit of sympathy for him was gone. Y/N does remember her real father but she never had a close connection with him since he was always busy with royal duties. After the death of her parents, Jungkook's parents decided to take care of Oleceur kingdom as the princess was missing and Jungkook being her fiancé helped the situation as technically the kingdom would have become his after marriage.
