As I walked into our apartment after a long day of teaching, I could immediately smell a different fragrance in the air. It was sweet and flowery, but not one I recognized. I looked around and saw nothing out of the ordinary, but the scent lingered in the air, making me feel uneasy.

Over the next few days, I started noticing the same scent every time Y/N came home from work. My mind started to wander, and I couldn't help but feel jealous. Was my husband cheating on me?

One night, I decided I couldn't take it anymore, and I confronted him. "Y/N, who is she?" I asked him, tears welling up in my eyes.

Y/N looked surprised and confused at my question. "Who are you talking about, Miura?" he asked.

"The woman whose perfume I can smell on you!" I cried.

Y/N's face softened as he realized what I was getting at. "Miura, that's just the new hire's perfume. As her supervisor, I interact with her often. But I assure you, I would never cheat on you. I love you too much," he said, pulling me into a hug.

I could feel myself starting to calm down as he held me. Y/N had never given me a reason not to trust him, and I knew he was telling the truth. But the jealousy was still there, nagging at me.

Y/N must have noticed my unease because he suggested we start going on regular dates to strengthen our bond. "Let's make time for each other, Miura. I want you to know that you're the only one for me," he said, smiling reassuringly.

I couldn't help but smile back. He was right. We had both been so busy with work lately that we hadn't been spending as much time together as we used to. Going on regular dates would be a great way to reconnect and build our relationship.

From that day forward, we made a conscious effort to go on a date every week. We would try out new restaurants, go to the movies, or simply take a walk in the park. It didn't matter what we did, as long as we were together.

As we spent more time together, the jealousy I had felt slowly dissipated. I realized that Y/N truly loved me and that nothing could ever come between us. I was grateful for his patience and understanding, and for being the rock I needed during a difficult time.
