When Kazuha opened his eyes he immediately knew he was dreaming. He looked around at the landscape. Orange leaves were falling from the trees surrounding him. It was quite calming. The floor looked like he was standing on a light orange ocean, it all felt nostalgic. Distant thunder roared and he felt at peace.

"Hey Kazu," A familiar voice said behind him.

Kazuha whipped around to be faced with Tomo, looking at him with a warm smile.

As happy as he was to see his friend again he was worried because of the first dream he had.

"Kazu...?" Tomo said again, his arms raised in the motion of a hug.

Kazuha ran towards him and barrelled into his hug. Pricks of tears appear in his eyes. The warmth in the other's arms was a missed feeling.

He felt happy.

Tomos hands wrapped around Kazuha's waist and he hugged him tightly.

And they stood.

Content.

The thunder that roared in the distance felt as though it got closer to the ocean below his feet getting restless.

"It's all your fault Kazuha," Tomo whispered.

Kazuha looked up. And was met with the sight of his friend's rotting corpse. Maggots wriggled under decayed skin, his eye sockets dry and empty. Kazuha screamed and tried to escape the arms. But the bone-thin arms felt as if they have a thousand tons of steel behind them.

Kazuha felt maggots start to crawl over his arms. A sickening feeling encased him, bile threatening to escape his stomach. Tears pricked his eyes as he struggled.

As the maggots started to crawl on his face and Tomos's decayed face started leaking black ooze. Loud cries for help escaped his throat and he began to cry.

Nobody came, nobody was coming.

"Hey twerp!" a familiar voice yelled from the distance.

Kazuha struggled to turn. The tears coming in full force now. Scaramouche was standing there a white door behind him. His hands were in his pockets and a nonchalant expression was plastered on his face.

"You coming?" Scaramouche gestured to him.

The bony decayed arms of Tomo let go. The maggots fell off and the tears started to fade. The black ooze still covered him as he held Tomos hand.

Kazuha looked between Tomo and Scaramouche. Tomo's face began to turn away. Kazuha let go of Tomos hand. Tomo fully turned away. Kazuha walked toward Scaramouche. Kazuha looked back just in time to see Tomos lips move with the words.

"Go."

Scaramouche grabbed Kazuha's hand and they walked through the door. When they passed through the door there was a white room. Scaramouche looked at Kazuha and he whispered.

"It's ok now."

Kazuha fell to his knees

And he cried.

Kazuha's eyes blinked open to see Scaramouche looking down at him. Blushing and surprised.

Kazuha heard a faint "Kazuha!" but to him, it was just a murmur.

"...just- just hold me for a minute." His voice felt like needles were trying to force their way out of his throat.

Scaramouches arms were around him, holding him. He could get used to this feeling.

then there was silence.
