Seokjin stood with his gaze firmly focused on the four year old kid. Jungkook laughed awkwardly at the keeper there.

Seokjin brought his whole health check up team in case the kid had any disease it could pass to Jungkook also. He can't let it happen. His husband was being over protective at this point.

"Seokjin..." Jungkook whined just wanting to carry the kid in his arms already. The time they entered inside the adoption center Jungkook knew he needed to adopt this kid at all cost.

"Let them do the checkup properly.." Seokjin responded crossing his arms over his chest. Jungkook huffed lightly.

"Sir we are done with the check up. Fortunately everything is fine with the child." Doctor announced as Jungkook nodded happily unable to control his excitement. Seokjin narrowed his eyes at the excited figure beside him.

"Alright. You can leave." nodding his head, the doctor excused himself.

"Ah!!" Jungkook giggled as he shook the tiny palms of the kid. " Look Seokjin!"

"I am looking"

"Are you going to be my my appa?" the kid asked tilting his head. Jungkook's big eyes glimmered as he gave a gentle smile.

"Yes, I am your appa and he is your daddy." Jungkook mumbled softly signaling towards Seokjin. The kid bored his eyes at Seokjin who looked back at him with his challenging ones. Jungkook looked at them confusingly before clearing his throat lightly.

"How about you take me in your arms appa?" Jungkook happily carried him in his arms as the kid smirked lightly looking at Seokjin who looked flabbergasted.

"Look at his rosy cheeks! It's so adorable!" Jungkook squeaked as he rubbed his own cheeks with the kid who had his tiny arms clutched around his appa.

"yeah.."

Seokjin who had his gaze fixed on Jungkook had a tender look in his eyes as he stared at the the younger one. What can he do when he found no other living being on this planet more adorable than Jungkook?

"Seokjin! Do you want to carry him?" Jungkook took a step toward Seokjin who looked at him with a frown as if he had just asked for the impossible.

"What?"

"Here..." Jungkook mumbled shyly as he tried to place the the little one in Seokjin's arms but the kid denied not wanting to be anywhere near the scary man.

"N-no he is a-scary" The kid whined as Seokjin clenched his fist. "N-no he is not scary" Jungkook tried to assure the kid looking at Seokjin who had his piercing gaze fixed on them.

The kid peaked his eyes at Seokjin before muttering out a light "ok"

Jungkook laughed awkwardly tugging at his husband's coat. "My arms are getting numb carrying him you know" Jungkook mumbled. It wasn't long before Seokjin carried the terrified kid in his arms.

"Fu–" Jungkook covered Seokjin's mouth who was almost going to curse in front of a kid.

"Let's go, don't get mad right now please" Jungkook pleaded clutching Seokjin's arms who sighed before increasing his pace to exit. Jungkook followed him timidly.

Seokjin settled inside the car before putting the seat belt around the little kid in back seat.

"What? Sit" Seokjin lets out annoyingly when he saw Jungkook fumbling timidly.

"I think I should sit at the backseat because he is still a kid." Jungkook mumbled.

It had always been Jungkook sitting beside Seokjin. Never for once did he ever sat anywhere from beside his husband. He swallowed when he saw Seokjin's jaw clenching.
