Y/N pov

I woke up before Wally did to see his arms wrapped around me again. "He really likes being close huh". I couldn't help but blush I've never been this close to him before,and I realized how tall he is, what a way to make me feel short. Anyways I got up trying not to wake up Wally. I got some clothes and change in the bathroom so if Wally woke up he didn't see anything.

After what felt like forever I got done getting dressed and went to the kitchen to make breakfast for me and Wally."hmm what should I make??" I've never cooked for someone except myself before. I thought it would be nice since Wally always makes me breakfast in the morning.

Time 7:09

I was done with breakfast and it was time to wake up Wally. I walked to my room to see Wally still asleep, I guess he was still having a hard time falling asleep last night. Seeing him now, he looks so cute when his asleep I almost didn't want to wake him up, but I didn't want the food to get cold, so I gave him a little shake."Wally it's time to wake up, Wally come on you don't want your food to get cold." Was he really that sleepy"Fine I guess I'll just have to eat all these apples by myself.
" Apples!! I want apples."
I knew that was going to work. I then grabbed his hand and tuck him to the kitchen. He was still a little sleepy." I know your sleepy so I made you food so you can get some energy!!" Oh and Poppy wanted to see us she said she wanted to ask us something." Oh really I wonder why maybe she's doing something." I don't know she didn't tell me any thing." After a while we finished our food and Wally got dressed and was on our way to Poppy's house. Poppy she is a big red bird other than her being mostly red she has blue green orange yellow colors that's in a pattern stripes, she is very nice and loves baking.

We finally made it to Poppy's house and knocked on the door after about 1 minute Poppy opened the door "Hello Y/N and Wally how y'all been?" We've been great, I was just stopping by because you said you wanted to see us." Oh yeah that right, come on in." Poppy house was like Barnabys's house but for a  barn it was like any red bran.

We all got to the living room and sat down
Y-"hmm Puppy are you breaking something?"
P-"yeah yes I am, I'm making my favorite cookies!"
W-"Really your cookies are the best cookies in the neighborhood!!"
P- thank you Wally I know how much you like them so I made you guys some!!"
Y- " oh I've never had your cookies before, I'm sure there as good as they sound."

Wally had the biggest smile on his face, It's funny how I love seeing him smile like that- what am I saying. It's like the more time I spend with him, I grew to like him even more than before, but why? I've only been here for about a month or two don't till me I'm falling for him! There's no way.... Right?

All of you study I see the blush on Wally's face. Was he reading my mind again, this is bad what if he thinks-.

P-"Y/N can you help with getting the cookies out the oven?"
Y- "oh yes I can"
Me and Poppy walking to the kitchen and got the cookies"Y/N I see the way you look at Wally"Huh-what do you mean?!" Oh come on it so obvious, you like him girl." Eh- how do I even know If I really like like him."I mean I love that he does art and cooks for me in the morning, and how he cares so much for no reason." See you like him, to a sister to a sister i tell you what. Take it easy let the feeling grew a bit more before you tell him how you feel will you can still make moves though." Poppy"what I'm just saying anyway let's get back to the living room."

Me and Puppy walked   back to the living room and sat down to see Wally happyly waiting for us. I don't think he heard anything that me and Puppy were talking about.
W-"you guys are back and you have the cookies!"
P-"oh yeah the thing I wanted to ask was if y'all could come to my party tonight?"
W-"of course we can!"
Wally answered for me but why? I don't  even know how to dance.
Y-"I don't know, I don't know how to dance."
P- " that's fine, Frank  doesn't dance too much but he still has fun!"
W-" come on neighbor, can you do it for me."
He had the biggest smile ever I couldn't help it I had too.

Y-"ok ok I will come, only for you"
W-"thank you neighbor, you're the best!!"
As that was being said wally hugged me tightly. He was soft with it and I can feel my  heart beating out of my chest. All of a sudden Wally whispered in my ear" now now don't get all flustered neighbor, not yet at least." I couldn't help it because my face was as rad as an apple." Hehe get it APPLE
we should get going now Poppy,me and Y/N need to get ready!" I'm shocked, I've never seen this side of Wally."yeah Wally's right, bye Poppy."
With that being said me and Wally walked back to my house."Hey Wally how come you didn't go home to change?" Oh because I put some of my clothes in your house when is being built."i don't get why would he need that....

Me and Wally changed into some more formal clothes for a party . Wally was wearing a red tuxedo with a blue tie in a flower in his side pocket, I weird a red dress with a furry white scarf that wasn't even for your neck more for your arms and some black gloves. The gloves matched the flower he had. It was fun to match each other.

Time 6:30
We then made it to Poppy's house everybody was there in their little outfits there was food and everything in between, It already seemed like everybody was having a good time I stopped by and talked to Sally and Poppy well Wally he was talking to some of the others. Poppy assisted that we put on some music and started dancing of course I didn't want to, but we all know that wasn't going to happen.

Wally came up to me and asked me to dance. He sounded a little nervous to ask me. Of course I said yes we were dancing and getting our groove on, until some slow music started to come on and I stopped and  I was kind of nervous to slow dance. I never slow dance before."do you want to slow dance with me?"Wally said with his hand out trying to pull me close."I can try."we stared in each other's eyes as we slow dance across the floor It felt so amazing and I  kind of thought I was dreaming.

He then pulls me closer  than ever before I laid my head on his chest and close my eyes and let the music take me away. I never thought I would ever be dancing with Wally. I've never been so happy" It seems you're enjoying yourself neighbor"you should see how red your face is too,neighbor Ha..ha..ha." All I could do is smile at his comment."shh I want to keep dancing with you." Oh but I thought you didn't know how, neighbor."ha ha real funny now dance more." Okay if you say so neighbor." With that being said we dance for hours in each other's arms.

Poppy's POV

"OMG I love what I'm seeing right now,guys look at Wally and Y/N we have ourselves a new ship that's starting to grow!!" I feel like a mother that was letting their child go for the first time. It was amazing to see Wally having such a good time with someone. I'm also happy for y/n she's falling in love with him. Everybody was happy as I was but they tried to stay dancing so they wouldn't make a big scene and ruin the moment.
