After Norman Osborn's fight with Spider-Man in Time's Square, Norman sat in his office at Osborn Manor as he watched TV, the Goblin personality slowly taking more and more control everyday. On the TV he saw a meteor crashing into Certain Park and that the police found organic, living matter on the meteor. The Goblin took control once more and decided that he needed to investigate this alien lifeform for himself.
Captain Stacy and his team had the meteor surrounded as they heard the laughter of The Goblin around them. The next thing they noticed was a pumpkin bomb rolling into the middle of the group before exploding, sending Captain Stacy flying as the rest of his team were killed by the explosion. Stacy got up as he fired shots into the smoke as he slowly saw Goblin come out the smoke before as he laughed, Stacy tried running away before he impaled through the chest by Goblin's glider, killing him. Goblin dropped his body as he landed, getting off his glider as he approached the lifeform, as it attached itself to him. Goblin could hear a voice in his head and it wasn't Norman, the new voice spoke to him, it's name was Venom and it had suppressed Norman and was slowly washing him away so the Goblin remained and it told him that everything he wanted could be his, Goblin laughed as a new plan came into his mind to rule New York with his own empire, Goblin laughed now feeling invisible.
Black Cat, Felicia Hardy (Anne Hathaway), witnessed this whole attack and decided that the only person who could do anything about this was Spider-Man.
Cat seeked out Spider-Man and once she found him, she offered him a partnership to take down Goblin, as to which Spider-Man agreed to work with her. They revealed each other's identities to each other as they began working together as Felicia revealed she had discovered Goblin's identity, he was Norman Osborn. Peter was shocked but agreed that they should stop him.
Peter and Felicia swung through the balcony doors as Goblin attempted to play innocent as they began to fight Norman but during the Harry walked in and stayed hidden as he watched his father do things he could do before as he held off both Spider-Man and Black Cat. Norman grabbed Spider-Man by the neck as he unmasked him, revealing Peter Parker behind the mask, Harry was shocked but Norman felt angry and betrayed as the symbiote covered him, applying his Goblin suit. Norman told Peter that he was going to make his family suffer before killing Peter himself. He threw him aside as Cat rushed to his side as Goblin flew away. Harry rushed to Peter's side as well, Peter was unconscious and severely injured.
Goblin arrived at May Parker's house as he crashed through the roof during her prayer as he yelled at her to finish it before blowing up the house, killing her in the process. Goblin decided next he would take Mary Jane Watson and force Peter to watch as he killed her. Goblin arrived at MJ's apartment as he crashed through the wall as he grabbed her by the neck before flying away.
Peter awoke as he saw Harry and Black Cat watching the news as Peter walked over seeing that Goblin had killed his Aunt May, Peter didn't have time to mourn as he saw that Goblin had taken MJ hostage. He quickly swung off without Felicia as she watched as Peter swung off.
Peter arrived at the Brooklyn bridge as he tried to plead with Norman to let MJ go as to which Goblin told him "Very poor choice of words." He said as he snapped MJ's neck killing her. Gwen Stacy watched from the ground with a gun in her hand ready to get revenge for the death of her father as Harry Osborn ran up next to her and told her not to otherwise Goblin would kill her too. Peter went into a rage as he attacked Goblin. The escalated as they crashed into an abandoned warehouse. Peter's costume was torn and he was badly beaten, he was slower and disoriented but Peter was hitting harder causing Goblin to actually feel pain for the first time in a long time. Goblin however called for his glider which Peter flipped over but Goblin caught it and grabbed his sword from the glider as he lunged at Peter and pinned him against the wall as he stabbed him with his sword, pinning Peter against the wall as he got on his glider as he flew away. Harry, Gwen, and Black Cat arrived shortly after Goblin left and found Peter's body pinned against the wall. Black Cat was so overwhelmed with sadness and rage she left immediately, leaving only Harry and Gwen.

21 Years Later
Black Cat left the Sanctum Sanctorum after finishing her conversation with Doctor Strange (Joaquin Phoenix) who told her that there was mystical artifact in a parallel dimension that could alter reality but with a cost and she would need a device to travel between realities. Felicia looked around as she saw Goblin troops patrolling the streets and forcing the Goblin's laws as she saw billboards for Oscorp.

Cat broke into Oscorp as she stole a device from Otto Octavius That allowed her to travel between realities. Goblin entered the lab as he saw as he summoned his symbiote suit as he laughed before Felicia opened the portal jumping through it before Goblin screamed before looking at another device like the one Black Cat had stolen. Goblin cackled as he grabbed the device.
Goblin went to the Sanctum Sanctorum as he crashed through the window and grabbed Doctor Strange by the neck and demanded to know what Black Cat was after, Strange refused to tell him but his assistant Wong, told Goblin for the sake of Strange's life, Goblin then killed Strange before finding Black Cat's life signature before opening a portal and traveling to the universe she escaped too.
