Six months, six months since the Secret War the Avengers had with Doctor Doom and Kang and whoever else was working with them. Six months since Peter had bonded with the alien lifeform that calls itself Venom. It had been communicating with Peter the whole time they have been bonded, there was very little understanding between the two, Venom wanted to be a lethal protector but Peter had tried stressing how important it was that they don't kill people but Venom didn't seem to quite understand Peter's thought process.

It had only been a month since Peter and Kate Bishop had started talking and developed sexual relations but nothing official, even though both of them wanted too, for Kate, she needed to get to know Peter more, she understood what he had told her about the fight he had with the other versions of him villains and how his Aunt May died but she needed to be able to understand Peter. As for Peter, he wanted to keep her safe but Venom was constantly telling him how he should act now and make things official before it was to late for them. Deep down Peter was agreeing with Venom but he was scared.
*Current Day*
Peter woke up due to the sun shining through the window hitting him in face as he woke up. Peter felt a weight on his chest as he looked at the weight as saw it Kate Bishop laying on his chest, her chest only covered by the sheets. Her alarm went off causing her to wake up, Peter turned it off as she smiled looking up at him as she kissed him before remembering that they weren't in an official relationship, causing her smile to turn into a sad one before it turned slightly happy again remembering that they were "taking things slow" as they put it. "Morning Spider-Boy." Kate said as he smiled at her, "Morning Katie." He said as he looked into her eyes, "I hate it when she calls us that! It's Spider-Man! MAN! Even Jameson gets that right!" Venom shouted but only Peter could hear, causing Peter to roll his eyes and sigh before getting out of bed leaving Kate confused as she looked at him, "Did I do something?" Kate asked as Peter put on his underwear then his sweatpants "No, Venom doesn't like the nickname." Peter responded as he turned around and looked at Kate who sat up causing the sheet to fall off, revealing her bare chest causing Peter's eyes to widen as he handed her his shirt as she put it on. Peter's phone went off as Kate picked it up "Um Petey? You're gonna wanna look at this." Kate said getting Peter's attention, "What's with all the pet names? Just date already!" Venom shouted as Kate handed Peter his phone. Peter looked at it and saw a crime alert telling him that Tombstone was about to be arrested and that the police had the Chrysler building surrounded. "Tombstone!? He's being arrested! I gotta go!" Peter said as he looked at Kate, "Go get'em tiger." Kate said with a smirk as he smiled back, "Finally! Let's go break some bones!" Venom exclaimed as he summoned the suit around Peter before they swung off.
Peter swung through the city as he made his way to the Chrysler building as an explosion came from the middle of the building. Peter swung through the window as he looked around the fire covered room, seeing people trapped by ruble, Spider-Man used his symbiote tendrils to pick up the rubble and moved away freeing the innocents. He then saw more people trapped under more rubble, Spider-Man crawled underneath the rubble as he picked it up as he struggled slightly trying not to cause any more damage. The civilians crawled away as Peter threw up the rubble getting out from under as he continued moving his way through the building as he reached the stairwell, "Going up?" Venom said as he made tendrils that reached on the railings and into the walls as he carried Peter to the top.
