This is a new story. Duh. But it is connected to the book Pluto, but you don-t need to read it for this one to make sense. Actually I'm not sure my writing even make sense. But I like writeing so I will continue. And in th I universe fantasy is a little more present.
One reality destroyed by a god. A god who couldn't move on from her grief . She was so consumed by her pain and grief that she became blind to ever thing else happening around her. That story is in the past now. And we're moving on to a story worth millions more lives. And it all started with a girl named Mia.
Mia was in a entirely different world than the broken one. And she knew nothing of that place. She was about to though.
Mia was sitting on a couch eating popcorn with her boyfriend. They were watching the movie The Shining. It is very similar to the one you know that exists in your world. But with some minor, and major changes.
"Holy shit," Said Mia as she watched the crazy man trying to cut down the door.
"You wanna stop," said Max. Her boyfriend.
"Hell no," she responded. Max put his arm around her shoulders.
"I love you," He said.
"That was kind of random. But I love you too." Today Max had planned on popping the question. And he was about to do it too. But his plans were cut off by a loud clattering sound outside.
"I'm not going first," said Mia who was a little on the edge from watching a horror movie.
"Thanks," said Max. Although he was scared he got up to check out the noise. He crept over to the door. When he got to the door he opened it very fast. What he saw was glowing. And whispering.
"What is it," called Mia from the couch.
"It's a Death Whisperer."
"What is a Will O' The Wisp doing all the way down here," she asked now walking over to the door.
"I don't know." The Will O' The Wisp's whispers inteanceifiied trying to lure them to their deaths.
"Damn fairy," Max said slamming the door. But as soon as he turned around there were more on the inside. Now Mia had turned around to seen them too.
"Maybe we should call the police," Max said. "They've got to help us. Right?" He looked at Mia for an answer but there was none. She was instead starring directly at the first blue blob of light.
"Follow us," the wisps chanted over and over. Mia couldn't control herself. She walked forward to them. They floated away from her as she neared them, leading her to her fate.
"Mia what the hell?" Max said. He grabbed her wrist in attempt to stop her. As his hand touched her arm his hand was burned like he was touching the sun. You see in this world those with a fate so strong have nothing to stop them from getting to it.
Mia was now following the wisps into the bathroom.
"Mia! Stop! Snap out of it!" Max yelled. He knew there was nothing he could do but he needed to try. He grabbed the coat hanger that was right by the door and ran in front of her. He held it up to her to stop her. As she neared the coat hanger split to let her pass.
"I won't let you pass," Max yelled guarding the door to Thu bathroom. But again people who have strong fates can not be held from them. So Max flew out the window and into the neighbor's house.
Now nothing stood in between Mia's fate but a door. But this time Fate did nothing. She walked so close to the door she was touching it. But she did not stop. She walked right through the door. A closed door at that. She walked right up to Thu mirror. And stood on the counter.
At this Mia was awoken from her trance.
"Max! Why the fuck am I on the sink?" She yelled. "Max!" She screamed when he did not answer. Mia looked into the mirror and saw nothing except the room shy was in. She sighed. She had never seen herself in a mirror. Only in pictures and cameras on her phone could she ever see herself.
She got down on her knees to get off the counter. Then she was pushed. She had no time to do anything but scream. She fell though the mirror like it was a pond. Now there was nothing but silence.
Mia was not in this world anymore. She had left this one for another. Leavening Max to think she was dead. I'll see you next time. It was a pleasure to see you again. Maybe I'll tell your story after this. But this one is just beginning. And time waits for no one.
