Even though it may look like Hyein is a psychopath or a crazily obsessed girl towards her crush, she always has a soft spot for Haerin and it will never change. Not in a million years.
"Do you really hate me that much Haerin? So much that you won't even agree to date me?" Hyein thought as she patiently waits for the latter to call her name.
"Unnie, have you decided?" Hyein asked after going near the bathroom door. But as expected, she got rejected, again.
"Hyein, I'm not messing around with you. Stop this joke, because if it is then it's not funny anymore. Why are you acting like a toxic main character on a movie?" Haerin answered before she starts to slam the door and open it, her attempts to open the door became louder and louder but it wasn't enough to make it budge at all as it was tied to their bed's poles.
"I'm not joking Haerin-unnie, why can't you take me seriously just this once? Here I am asking you out and you're still thinking of this as a joke?"
"Haven't I told you yet? We're both too young for things like that, for fuck's sake"
"Unnie, did you just.....curse?" Hyein took a step back. This is the first time that she heard Haerin curse and say that word.
"I told you Hyein, this isn't funny anymore!" Haerin raised her voice.
"Then why can't you take me seriously!" Hyein yelled back.
On the other hand, while Minji's busy with preparing their dinner, loud slams and yells from the maknae's room kept on going out. What the yells and screams are not understandable but anyone could tell that something bad is happening inside.
"What's wrong with that two?" Minji sighed before she continues with what she's doing earlier. "Danieeeelle" she called the younger one with her sweetest tone possible. (That's how she calls everyone by the way, except their two youngest members)
"What's the matter?" Danielle asked after taking a peek on the small space created as she opens the door.
"Can you continue this for me? All that's left here is to put them all in the wok and wait for it to get cooked. I'll go check on the kids, I think they're fighting" Minji said while removing her apron.
Then Danielle took the latter's and starts to put it on herself. "Got it Minji" she smiled before washing her hands.
After hearing that, Minji quickly turned her head to face the latter. Surprised from the sudden way she just got called by Danielle. "Minji?" she asked.
"Yup, remember we're the same age now" Danielle answered while giggling. "Don't worry, I'll call you with 'unnie' again after you turn 19"
"I don't mind though, it's fine with me. Jihye" Minji then smirked at her before going to their daughters' room.
"Hey you two, why are you yelling? I can clearly hear you two at the kitchen. Something the matter?" Minji asked after knocking.
"M-Minji-unnie?" Hyein mumbled as she starts to panic, thinking on how she's going to explain everyting that's happening right now. "Nothing's going on, we're just talking about something"
That moment, Minji was about to leave but then Haerin suddenly screamed. "Minji-unnie, Hyein's acting weird" she said as loud as she could.
So she immediately went inside their room without getting permission and she's greeted by an unpleasant view.
"Hyein?" was the only word that came out from her mouth after seeing the latter outside the bathroom, holding on to the knob as tight as she can.
Minji then pointed at the bathroom. "And Haerin's inside there, right?"
Hyein nods.
"Hyein, it's alright. Okay? How about we let Haerin out there and let's all talk about it?"
"O....okay" the latter muttered before they remove the rope that's keeping the knob locked.
"Unnie.... you're here" Haerin mumbled before immediately losing consciousness and fall right on Minji's arms.
"What happened to Hyein?" Minji thought as she observe Haerin's state. The way she breathe is faster than usual, and is also sweating a lot more.

"Minji-unnie, how's Haerin?" Hyein asked the moment Minji joined them on the table to eat dinner.
"She's fine. I think Haerin collapsed because of lack of oxygen inside the bathroom as you also turned off the exhaust fan. Let's also add that you turned off the lights, making her panic all while she's doing her best to get out of there"
"I'm....sorry. I didn't know what I'm thinking earlier. It's just, it's just that my body acted on its own"
"Aren't you just too obsessed with Haerin?" Danielle interrupted. "Now tell us why you locked her inside"
Hyein looked down. "I just want her to date me. I already confessed my feelings to her multiple times but she keeps on rejecting me thinking that I'm just kidding. And she also thinks of me as a kid. Which I didn't like"
"Promise, I don't have any bad intentions. It's just that I think, I've started to like her. Not just as my friend but the other way around"
"You mean romantically?" Asked Minji.
"Yeah"
Danielle then sat besid the younger. "You know that if you really love someone, you need to respect whatever decision they make right? See what just happened earlier, what would happen if Minji didn't barge inside your room?"
"Hyein, I don't want this to happen again. Am I clear with that?" Said Minji as she stare at her.
Meanwhile, Danielle leaned closer until her lips are inches apart from Hyein's ear. "I'll let you off the hook for the last time. If this happens again, you won't like it"
