MLP: Twilight's Diary

~ Chapter Two ~

Princess Twilight every day has an hour to herself, away from her royal duties as Ruler. Which of course, is surprising! Why waste so much time? Twilight has so much she needs to do, but she thinks it is good to take a nice, good break, outside from lunch, to be an excellent ruler. Princess Twilight couldn't keep her mind off of the "orange stallion." She doesn't know why she is having sort of feelings for him, but doesn't know him!

"He seems the sweetest.." Twilight exclaimed romantically. Twilight Velvet and Night Light crept in the alicorn's mind. "My parents!" She gasped. It's been forever!" She looked at the time. "I have time to visit them!" Princess Twilight teleported at her parent's door, giving a rigorous knock accidentally knocking on Night Light's head.

"Ouch!" Cried her father.

"Father!" Twilight beamed with her wings flaring open. Night Light gave a huge smile and hugged her daughter tight.

"Twily, it's soo good to see you!" He cried. Twilight Velvet, her mother, jumped out hearing the commotion.

"Honey!" Her mother cried with joy, hugging Twilight. Twilight released the hug, wiping a tear from her eye.

"How's everypony?"

"Oh. Just same as usual!" Said Velvet.

"Besides our favorite princess being crowned recently! "

"Oh please, it's  been a few years."

"The BEST few years!!" Cried Velvet, giving a kiss on her cheek. "It has been a few  years since I've seen you, but we have been so proud of the pony you have become!" Twilight gave an artifical laugh spreading on a smile.

"Just.. doing my duty what I am supposed to!" Doesn't mean I can get out of it either."

"And, I thought you've grown a few inches tall!" Exclaimed Night Light. "You're probably as tall as Cadence!" Twilight wished her goodbyes to her parents. She enjoyed the familiar company she lived a long time ago. Princess Twilight decided to walk back to the castle. She spotted a lake. She saw her reflection. The alicorn has definitely grown within the recent times. Twilight gazed in her reflection, realizing how much she has changed. Looked away from her reflection in dismay, holding her chin high in dislike. She started to love her duty as a ruler. But she felt there was something missing, greatly. Time kept speeding so fast, she couldn't blink. Within a whole year, last year, Pinkie Pie married Cheese Sandwich! Rainbow Dash surprisingly took charge of the Wonderbolt academy from Spitfire's unfortunate accident. She sensed a romantic sensation between Fluttershy and Discord! Twilight laughed in utter surprisement recurring the moment of their unusual reaction between one another. Time kept ticking, more and more for the alicorn. She passed through the gates being bowed my stallion soldiers. She entered the main hall of the rebuilt castle, that was almost completely destroyed by the three villains. Since Twilight became ruler, she commanded to place paintings of all the heros of Equestria has ever had in history, including her group of best friends along the visitor halls. She entered her private hallway. The royal hall had paintings from all the rulers that have ruled the country. She looked at each painting, seeing almost a direct family line of royalty taking the throne, all the way to the royal sisters. There was a painting of Twilight too. She sighed. "Surprising they asked ME to rule.. what about Prince Blueblood? He's part of the royal line?" She took a deep breath. She though loved serving the fellow citizens on Equestria. She remembered Celestia telling her how Equestria wouldn't have better hooves to lead this country. Twilight looked at a watch, and teleported to the throne room for her next appointment.

"Spike. Spiikkee!"

"Yes Twilight, I'm here!" Answered Spike as he barged through the main doors, closing them after. Spike grew a couple of inches, but was still the small little dragon. He carried a long list and quill.
