So, I was a normal girl until I found what wasn't supposed to be known to me. So let me introduce myself. My name is Scarlett Odison. I'm the only child to a normal couple. I study in a very expensive school meant for rich brats but I never misused which ,it was in Italy as my dad was very rich and as usual I was so much into studies that even if I study, I wouldn't get good grades. Yeah! practically I was a nerd but.... yeah! you can laugh because it was not worth it anyways and I am very bad at making friends so I spend my time alone in school just listening to the teachers, music and trying to understand the concepts of algebra, organisms, and all about gravity, as time passed I reached to eleventh grade which got ten times better after that onwards.
My childhood best friend and AKA my father's friend's son Aric reached Italy after a decade. I couldn't believe that he would come because when I used to ask my parents "Mom when Aric will come to Italy I want to play with him.'' yeah !! Obviously, I was just four when I asked her and I didn't have friends and then my parents used to say that he left Italy for good but I didn't understand what mom was trying to say. It was about damn time, my holidays were going to start from tomorrow and the next day Aric was coming from Australia to Italy. I was so excited to pick him up from the airport. I got up and had muffins for breakfast and I was right off on my black matte G-Wagon. It's my favorite car.

I reached there. I was waiting for hours. The flight already arrived at 9:45 am and now it was 3 pm. I got worried and started calling him like multiple times and then he picked up the call after an hour I was so mad that I wanted to beat him up with a baseball bat and, I was gonna fall asleep as I didn't sleep yesterday because I had to complete my homework for the vacation so that I would be free and enjoy my holidays.
Then at that point, I saw a guy wearing a black outfit, a black hat, and a black mask, and his eyes were Irish-Green that was none other than Aric. I almost couldn't recognize him, behind him some suspicious men were following him. He always had some suspicious people following him since childhood. I used to think maybe they were bullies, so I went to Aric, took his luggage, and said "We need to get out of here as soon as possible".
I grabbed his hand and as I was going to take him to the basement he stopped and asked me "Who the hell are you, lady? How dare you grab my hand ?." I was shocked, angry, and frustrated. First, he comes late, then there are some suspicious men following him and now he does not recognize me? had no choice except to beat him and I punched him so hard and then he realized that I was his childhood friend duh! Then the men who were following him were still there. I quickly took his baggages and dumbed it into my Wagon and then Aric and I were off to home. I asked Aric is everything alright? He said, "It's a lot more complicated. I will explain everything when we are home ."I was still mad because he didn't recognize me and then we stopped at the signal and I saw the same men following us in a Mercedes Benz in black.
I got so mad and said " What are these cowards thinking of themselves bloody idiots. Let me call the police" As I was going to call Aric stopped me and told me "Actually there are my bodyguards.". I was in complete shock. Why would he need bodyguards when he is a normal human? I was going insane like what the hell was going on? The signal turned green.
I took my Wagon to a nearby cafe and stopped there and I asked him "Why would you need a bodyguard dumb head ?". Aric said, "You probably wouldn't understand now but I'm not much safer in Italy than in Australia, you just need to calm down okay ? And didn't your parents say anything about the aifam."
My head was aching like when I opened my books for studying " I asked in real anger "What is aifam? What the hell is going on ?" Aric was in shock like when you see something that wasn't expecting to know he said "Your parents will explain everything to you. Let's go have some boba tea, okay ?". I calmed myself down and went inside the cafe and we waited for our order.

I met Aric after so many years and since I was getting bored I started telling him about an incident with Aric I said "Aric do you remember ?, When I was four we both were playing football in the football ground which was our favorite thing to do .Until one day when our parents weren't there and some big uncle came and was tryna kidnap me and you saved me by calling some of your uncles {who practically looked like bodyguards} and you punched on his face and we ran from there. It still looks fishy to me like many times when I reach school I would always feel like someone is watching me but it wasn't that serious. I think I really have to buy the Self-Defence kit ." Aric said in a worried voice "Yeah !! childhood days. Don't you even know self-defense, Scarlett ?"I said, " No, Obviously why would I ?" Aric said, "For the safer side."I said, "I would try my best to start working on it during these holidays."Aric asked me "Your vacation started! Oh! That's good. We can enjoy it! Yahoo!"
Until then Mom called me and I picked up the call and asked "Have you picked up Aric?" I said "yes" and I said that he didn't even recognize him" my mom started laughing. It's a serious problem. Why are you laughing? I said to Mom "Okay! It turned out that I became more beautiful in my teens." Aric was just looking at his phone and smiling and then said "I have some work to handle on the way to home."I said, "Sure I would help you out ." My mom said, "Honey, come home as soon as possible." I said okay but her voice sounded a bit worried and then I disconnected the call our order had arrived. I saw that Aric didn't remove his mask till now and isn't drinking his drink. I asked him why he wasn't drinking. He said, "I would like to drink it on the way home." Aric had a lot of work on the way home. ......... to be continued.
