Lying in Bed Maya started thinking about her life, 'yes she is one of those girls; bland and predictable. Why in the Lord's name am I shy? I should be one of those alpha girls that aren't afraid of anything. The kind who've worked to start companies and don't blush when given a slight compliment.'

This had been going on for about two weeks. Ever since Maya started talking to Him she seemed to question her very existence. At 20 you'd think she would be comfortable in her own skin and ready to date whoever she pleases but that was not the case.

Maya Mkarye is a beautiful girl, At least that's what everyone keeps telling her. She's about 5'4 tall and is as curvy as they come. She has big Brown eyes, a small nose and a smile to die for. She is of chocolate complexion and is proudly black. The first thing that you'd notice on meeting her is her pleasant personality. She smiles through everything and isn't easily rattled by her circumstances.

Lately Maya couldn't help but feel low and confused. Life ceased to be simple as she knew it. So what if she wasn't God's perfect child, so what if she sinned a little. Her friends did it anyway, some were sluts and God didn't seem to mind, why then was she feeling so distraught and uncentered. Oh how it sucked to be of good morals. Sometimes she felt like God purposefully gave her an active conscience to punish her. With a conscience like this she couldn't even give a decent lie without apologizing.

Maya always faced a struggle when it came to her spiritual life. She really wanted to Be immersed in God's ways and be aligned to His perfect plan but she seemed to mess up every single chance she got. It was always Her dream to be a worshipper, Damitta Haddon was her inspiration, but how could she do that when all she thought about was Him. The man who was carelessly playing with her heart.

Children from broken homes are the worst to mess with, they are scarred from the start and are known to have daddy issues. Well, she wouldn't say she had them but if the world thought she did and she could get away with things by virtue of that lie, then yes she had daddy issues.

It wouldn't take a magician to notice that she had commitment issues but hey who wouldn't if everyone around them is breaking up and hurting each other. This thoughts had not been a  part of Maya's life until she started noticing; noticing how all her friends had boyfriends, noticing that all her friends were no longer virgins, noticing her friends had started making money. Noticing noticing noticing was her hugest problem!

Why couldent she live her life under His wings free from all the worldly interference? It was time to get things into perspective, to stop whining around like a little girl. It was time to for a game plan and to stick with it. After all we only live once, better live now than keep second guessing every little move you make no?

She had it she'd draft a game plan, a list of things she'd want to achieve and how to achieve them. Even with all the inspiration from her mind, she couldn't fight what she really was... a lazybum and so like all the plans she'd ever made she thought to herself, 'tomorrow, I'll draft my game plan tomorrow. Let me first get centered today.'
