Chapter Eleven:Classes.

Harpers POV.

I walked to class with my house and the Hufflepuffs for our first class. Wanna guess who I have up for my first class? I have Defense Against Dark Arts with Lockhart and I am not happy about it. However, the girls were giggly about it, boys, not so much.

"I heard we are going to be in Gildory Lockharts class".

I heard Padma speak as I shook my head, that guy is all talk and no game, it's actually annoying to hear him.

"He's so handsome, especially with what he's done in his books".

Sue commented in a daze as I sighed, well I need to do something about it before they get too distracted with him. I put my hands on Padma's and Sue's shoulders, my magic seeping into them as it rid them of any thought of Lockhart romantically. Along with protecting their eyes from looking at whatever Lockhart had drenched himself in.

Padma and Sue were confused for a moment and shook their heads. It worked, dad taught me the neat trick a few days before going to Hogwarts.

Narrators POV.

Harper and John stood in the living room together, John was talking to Harper while Sirius was at Malfoy Manor for his lessons of rules in the magical world.

"Harper, I need you to do something for me".

"Sure dad, what is it?".

Harper asked curiously as he put his hand on her shoulder and she felt a bit of magic seap through her. She tilted her head.

"This is what I want you to do, I know your strong enough and it can't help being prepared in situations like this. I know something about Lockhart and he puts charms and doses himself in Amortentia. Meaning your female friends will be infatuated with him, tending to go into obsession".

"Do you want me to cure them from him dad?".

"Yes Harper, you see, he won't come near you but no doubt Dumbledore will try and use Lockhart to get to you. So be prepared for when that happens".

Harpers POV

We made it to DADA and I have saved almost every female in my year level that are in DADA from Lockhart. The girls were confused wondering why they found Lockhart fascinating. Sue was cringing over why she thought Lockhart was handsome.

By the time class had started, me and Hannah sat together and Lockhart came in through the office of DADA. Let me tell you, he wasn't expecting the girls to give him a straight face. What a dumb dumb.

"I am Gildory Lockhart and I am your new defense against the dark arts teacher. Honary member of the Dark force, order of Merlin third class, winner of witch weekly's charming smiles award".

I snorted at his words, I knew he was stupid the moment I met him, it's a shame that he was in Ravenclaw. I put my hand up, which he noticed and his smile had dropped.

"Y-yes Miss Potter".

"Uhm Professor, are you going to actually teach us magic or are you going to end up like last years DADA teacher?".
