In The Aftermath

-Aria pov-

It's been a week since I've been back, classes start again tomorrow morning and I spent the morning with Sebastian and Ominis in the greenhouses. When it got later in the day we were walking to the Great Hall for a late lunch. Walking down the corridor we would see all these people snogging, of course Ominis is oblivious to it but Sebastian and I weren't. It made an awkward moment for us, after all. We haven't really talked about it since. We need too but it's just not the time. Sebastian's been extra flirty and always trying to hold my hand.

"Some people have no decency" I say looking at one couple, Sebastian saw and smirked at me.

"What?" Ominis says.

"Yeah well we are in a school of thoughtless teenagers" Sebastian says to me.

"I understand, but still. Personally I'd prefer to keep it private, it's a very intimate thing and shouldn't be gossiped and out for display" I tell him.

"What are you two talking about?" Ominis days.

"The people around us snogging" Sebastian says.

Ominis having no way to know if Sebastian is telling the truth or not just keeps moving forward. Ignoring the statement.

"But I agree should be kept private" Sebastian says to me.

"Oh and how many girls have you snogged to say such a statement Sebastian. I don't recall the information" Ominis says sarcastically as we reached the Great Hall.

"I've kissed a girl" Sebastian states matter of factly. Ominis rises his eyebrows.

"Name one who wasn't a relative" Ominis says to him challenging Sebastian.

We sat at the Slytherin table Ominis is drinking his pumpkin juice. Sebastian looks at me rising his eyebrows. I scribble him a note on the corner of my notes.

I'm more surprised that you didn't tell him to be honest, but only tell him, like I said like to keep it private

He read it and smiled at me. It was the only way to communicate that Ominis couldn't hear us.

"Well Sebastian, I'm waiting" Ominis tells him taking a sip of juice.

"Snogged Aria" Sebastian says at once and poor Ominis nearly choked on his pumpkin juice.

"Your bullshitting me, you only said that because she's sitting here and it was the first girl you thought of. Doesn't count" Ominis says to him. I just smile at Sebastian holding back a laugh.

"It's true, you tell him, he'll believe you" Sebastian now directs it at me. I couldn't hold it back I giggled.

"It's true Ominis" I say.

"I hardly believe that he told you to say that, so he doesn't look pathetic" Ominis argued.

I can see Sebastian's temper starting to rise. It was funny to him at first when Ominis didn't believe it, but now it's not for Sebastian, I'm getting quite a kick out of it though. I put my hand on Sebastian's to calm him down. Before he says something he shouldn't.

"Well you can believe me or not but it's true" Sebastian says getting up and walking out.

"Sebastian! Wait" I call. He's already out of the room.

"He left?" Ominis asks.

"Yeah, he did" I say.

"I didn't mean t— I was just teasing him" Ominis said.

"Don't think Sebastian found it funny anymore" I say.

"Did you two really kiss?" Ominis asks more seriously.
